Peaceful and Scenic. Lovely lakes, easy bike trails. Beware the catamaran time table is unreliable at the end of September. Double check when the Winter schedule begins.

We booked an all inclusive day trip from independent firm in Dubrovnik. We were picked up by car from our Hotel, very early! One ferry a day so quite busy. Takes nearly two hours to get to Mijet and not most luxurious ferry/hydro. We were met by guide, bit strong a description as he was with us for bits of... More

Took the boat from Dubrovnik and then made the hike to the top of the hill (235mts). Amazing vue of the lakes and the sea! Went down to the other side , took the small boat to the small island with the monastery. Then went back. A amazing day in spite of the weather.

We spent a couple of days on the island and enjoyed a boat ride to the island monastery. We had lunch at the Monastery which was pretty good too. There wasn't that much to do in the evening where we stayed in Pomena but it was the end of September so maybe it is more lively earlier in the year.... More

We visited the National park of Mljet and it was the highlight of our whole crotia sail! The day was glorious, kayaking on the glistening lake, casually riding bikes through the island and sunning ourselves on the rocks after a swim in the almost turquoise water. This adventure was then followed by a cycle to Solene a little fishing village... More

An absolute haven. The two lakes are just stunning, we simply walked around, found a spot to put our stuff down and dove into the crystal clear water. Really beautiful and so quiet. We didn't worry at all about leaving money and cameras at the lakeside as there was no one around. We swam and sunbathed and walked all day.... More

I thought this Island was gorgeous. The lakes had some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen or swam in. We made one mistake though. We rented bikes as soon as we got off the ferry as we saw that is what everyone else was doing. Not being very frequent cyclists we were not able to make it... More

Mljet has a beautiful Park with it's own lake with an island in the center. After a short boat ride you arrive at the island which has a small , historic church as well as rocky beaches for swimming . The coffee shops and shopping can be found near the church and ferry stop. The Park has a small fee... More

Mljet was definitely the highlight of my boyfriend and I´s 2 week trip along the Balkan coast. I am even a bit hesitant to write this review, because I feel Mljet isn´t yet too spoiled by flocks of tourists, which is exactly what we needed. It provided us with a quiet escape after being in Athens, Montengran beaches and Dubrovnik.... More

Croatia is definitely one of the most beautiful European countries and it has lots of scenic natural corners to pamper your vacation with a wealth of beautiful experiences. One of them is National park Mljet. Beautiful island.
