Well spent day (or 2) is to do a boat trip around the city walls of Dubrovnik and then continue for Elafits islands close to Dubrovnik. If time permits visit Mljet which is definitely one of "the best of" that Mediterranean can offer

We had a short time to spend, but it was worth it. We had hired a private skipper and took a little stop in Miljet because we had heard it was so lush and that the water was beautiful and we wanted to discover this little oasis of heaven. It did not disappoint. Our skipper dropped us off at the... More

If you go to Dubrovnik ( the pearl of the Croatian coast),do not miss the Mljet, magic, fragrant, most seductive island.of all the Adriatic islands. You can get there in 1.5 hours by speedboat. Covered by forests and lush vegetation,Mljet spreads the most wonderful smells which are mixed with the smell of salt sea water and fresh water from colorful small lakes. Legend... More

An absolutely beautiful island. My friends and I only did a day trip here, and although we could have stayed longer, a day was plenty to cycle around and see what the island has to offer. Would recommend hiring bikes and doing a cycle around the island, we did this during the summer and found some beautiful hidden places. Water... More

This was one of our stops on our weeklong sail trip. We had a great time and we tasted octopus under the bell for the first time. Delicious.

What a beautiful island. So glad I got to visit. We took the boat to the smaller island and it was amazing. We went swimming in the lakes and had a long walk around. Stunning.

The Mljet National Park is absolutely breathtaking. The lake is so peaceful and stunning, there's a great place you can float through a mini canal and it's great for swimming. You can hire bikes and kayaks to explore the lake and the surrounds on which is great. The town itself is small but has a few lovely restaurants and bars... More
