Gorgeous island

We loved Mljet. Stayed in an apartment in Polace and rented bikes to get around and to the National Park. I wish we had more time to explore the rest of the island!

To Mljet we took the Nona Ana ship from Dubrovnik Gruz port in the morning. The journey was very nice I recommend it to everyone. It took the sip two ours to get there, but as the ship was sailing between little beautiful islands and almost everytime near the coat, even if you are afaraid of water like me, you... More

For more than 30 years, every two or three years my husband and I come to this place, first as a couple and now with adult children, to recover from the crowd and stress. For those who enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, diving or any other activity in the contact with nature - this is the right place for vacation. Not... More

We have been to national park Mljet and it is a breathtaking experience. Salty lakes, greenness of water and forrests are amazing. People are friendly with only one exception: incident with a waiter in restaurant Pomena in Pomena.

Free of turmoil and agitation, beautiful amazing Mljet, the island situated at the south part of Croatia, and the west part of Dubrovnik. The National Park Mljet covers 3/4 of the west part of the island, being considered the most beautiful from the Adriatic sea.The fact that the nature stayed untouched due of its national parks and the diversity of... Friends of ours had visited Mljet a few years ago and strongly recommended that we visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, staying mostly in the national park swimming, walking on the trails, visiting the monastery and eating wonderful seafood. We took the morning ferry from Split and arrived around 10:30. It is a beautiful, quiet island. The only... More

We stayed on Mljet for two nights in a gorgeous apartment in Prozurska Luka. The island has lots of little villages, all of which are connected by a main road. It's well-worth visiting the national park, especially the old monastery. Both lakes in the park are beautiful. We also visited Odysseus' Cave; worth the walk down but would be hard... More

The most peaceful place I've seen in Croatia. Once I got off of the boat I was shrouded by the chirping of the cicadas and the smell of the pines. Beautiful!

If you are looking for nature and tranquility, then the island of Mljet is the best choice. No massive tourism and entertainment so far and I hope it stays that way. Ideal for sport lovers, particularly triathlon. Pearls of Mljet are both salty lakes with island of St Mary, which are protected as a national park.
