I decided not to pay the 100 Kuna to climb the city wall and walk around the town, because I did not think it would add much to the experience. After all, you cannot see the wall when you are standing on it. I, however, found the 30 Kuna spent on admission to this fortress money very well spent. You... More

My wife and I love this fortification at the foot of the old town of Dubrovnik. Very historic, great views and proved to be a perfect spot for playing Hamlet.

Included in the Ancient City Walls ticket but outside and separate to the Old Town but just as fortified as the rest. A short walk up and the views back to Town & over the Adriatic are well worth it.

We didn't know our 120 kuna ticket to access the walls covered entry for here and as a result, we got charged another 30 kuna to go up. There is no info or signs explaining the forts history all you do is go up, look around for 10 mins, take a few photos then leave....

Visiting the old fort is part of the walls price you pay. If I remember correctly you can visit the fort the day after you purchased the tickets as well. Valid for only one visit. The city walls needs to be visited on the day of ticket purchased. New price for 2016 is 120kuna. They do take cash or credit... More

Its well worth the walk up to this old fortress but take your time if not all that fit to get to the very top where the best views are. Very interesting to see the battlements, cannon shot and other artifacts.

Being less expensive than city walls, this fortress offers different (and still stunning) view on Old Dubrovnik. There's nothing much inside but the views offered are more than sufficient as compensation.

The fort is included in the price of the City Walls tour - it's definitely worth heading over. It gives you a different view of the old city and the sea. I especially enjoyed climbing on the cannons for a photo-op. It's a short walk around, but worth seeing this side of the city's fortifications. The walk up is also... More

You see the fort from so many places in Dubrovnik it would be a shame to not visit. Entry is reasonable just like most attractions in the city and the views are fantastic, just like most views in the city. As a Game Of Thrones fan it was nice to see a couple of set locations both on the way... More

worth making the visit in to Galle Fort or even staying right within the walls of the Fort. Lovely views and lots of interesting people watching. Also close to the cricket grounds, so good for cricket fans to see.
