A nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of the main Dubrovnik wall. The fort was quiet and gave striking views over the old town and nearby islands. Shady and cool in places too. Keep your tickets from the old town walls to avoid paying full price.

It was a little walk to get there, we didn't know you had to walk down by the water to get there and took a long round about walk to find it, but worth it. There were only a few other people there, which was a nice break from the crowds in the old town. Great views both on the... More

We went on a guided tour which took us to locations where GoT was filmed. Very interesting for fans. Lots of steps to climb, but worth the views too.

We went in early July and almost had the place to ourselves around 1PM. It didn't take long to go through the site, but it's certainly worth seeing especially since if you paid for the city walls, this place is included in the price of admission. There are some great views from up top. We actually visited the fort the... More

The fort itself doesn't have a lot to offer, but the views are better than walking on the wall or the cable car. The ticket to climb the wall includes entry into the fort and it seems like no one knows about it because we were there pretty much by ourselves in the middle of the day! Do not miss... More

If you have a ticket for the town walls, then you can get in for free. The fort itself isn't that spectacular, but it is worth a visit. The views from it are stunning. Went around 11am, and was pretty quiet, only around a dozen other people there at the time.

The ticket to the wall includes entry to this fort so don't throw it away! The fort is awesome and the views of the ocean and the old town are amazing. We visited in the morning and almost had the place to ourselves.

When we were there there were not many tourists, which we found strange because the view was spectacular. We've been to the top of the cable car, but the view was too far, so doesn't feel realistic.

You can get into the Fort for free if you've already bought a ticket for the city walls. We were surprised it was so quite - only about 4 other people when we were there. Ok, it's nothing special in itself, but you get a great vantage point for photos so that in itself was reason for going.

We took advantage of one the open air evening performances of the bards classic and were not disappointed. In the castle, late at night, in the open air and with good lighting the castle is a superb setting. Recommend you take advantage if one of the plays are on when you visit.
