The entrance price is included in the ticket for the city walls. The entrance is not obvious - start at the Pile Gate walk to the Gallus restaurant and head down the alley way alongside. There are quite a few steps up to the fort's entrance. The fort has been used for TV filming and we can see why as... More

It makes for a nice walk up here, but there is no exhibit or interior to really investigate, just spectacular views from the tower terrace. It is included in the ticket you buy for the city walls so you might as well. It's a little difficult to find the way up, so best to stop by the tourist office outside... More

You can enter the Fort at the same ticket you buy for City Walls - wich is good. You need to climb some stairs to go up the fort but the views are worth it.Absolutely amazing.

This clifftop fortress screams 'adventures have been had here', and not just by Game of Thrones players. Amazing views too.

This isn't the easiest of places to find (best access through the Pile Gate and follow the signs to the Orphan Restaurant) and once you do there are a series of steep steps to access it. However, it's worth visiting for the dramatic views you obtain of Dubrovnik's walled city. The fort's entrance fee (30 kuna - £3) is included... More

Worth the expensive cable car ride for the views. You need to go into the exhibition in the Fort and climb up the steep stairs to the top for the best views. You can't get away from cables obstructing the view if you just stay at the cable car station. From the top of the Fort you can see up... More

Absolutely loved visiting Fort Lovrijenac in Dubrovnik that was first built to protect the Republic of Ragusa (as Dubrovnik was then known) from the preying hands of the Republic of Venice. Recommended to be visited in cooler hours in Summer Months, you can buy entrance ticket that will also included a visit on the Old City Walls of Dubrovnik. Immediately,... More

Entrance to this fotress is included with the fee paid to go around the walls. I think it is worth the climb (steep stairs) just for the view you'll see once you're on top. A must to visit for any Game of Thrones fans as this was a film location.

It is a massive undertaking that the Dubrovnik Republic undergo to build this fort to protect it freedom from the Republic of Venezia which was its rival in the medieval time. Just breathtaking!
