Game of Thrones

We went to the fort in the morning and had it almost to ourselves. The views were great and we could certainly envision Game of Thrones being set there!

Some spectacular views from the Blackwater I mean the Lovrijenac. This was one of the best landmarks it has a walk up stairs pretty much on the edge of the cliff and views that you only think are imaginary it's beautiful.

The entrance to the Fort is included in the price of the City Walls ticket, and it is well worth paying a visit. Once at the top, the views are stunning, and we didn't have to battle with hundreds of other tourists to take pictures. It was lovely just sitting and soaking up the atmosphere.

Die Hard Game of Thrones fans - this is a must to visit. It's worth the climb and the view is unbelievable! Find a quite corner and peek thru the port hole windows and see the red roof houses of Dubrovnik! Climb the steps and you won't be disappointed

Had a family which are fans of the TV series and we put together our own setting walk. This included the fort with wonderful views/shade and very quiet. Your wall ticket included the entrance here

It's a pity that many tourists do not know that their tickets to the old city also entitles them to visit this fort. This place is a must visit!

An antmospheric fortress that make perfect sense for the Game of Thrones setting. We say Twelth Night there and the play could not have been in a betting location.

We decided to climb the 157 stairs to the top and it was totally worth it! The views are amazing from the top. Keep your tickets from the old city walls and entrance to the fort is included.

The 100 Kuna city wall ticket includes the Lovrijenac fortress. You need to find the alley that leads to the stairs, but it's well worth it. You get great views of the old town and the sea, and you can feel like Tyrion Lannister looking over the bay.
