Fabulous views of Dubrovnik. I am scared of heights but the walkways were fairly wide apart from odd spots, and I felt fairly safe. I would recommend doing this early morning or late afternoon as otherwise it is rather busy and very warm.

Go early to avoid the bus loads of tourists that go up the walls each day as it is far more relaxing when there are less people. I would also recommended waiting for a cooler day as the intense heat can make it rather hot when walking such a long distance around the city, however going early would hopefully avoid... More

Absolutely gorgeous views from the City Walls. Well worth 100 kuna. I would recommend starting the walk early, not only to escape the crowds but to escape the heat! We finished the walk at 12pm and by then it was getting incredibly hot. It was much nicer enjoying the views without being too warm. Saying that, there were quite a... More

Well worth it. We spent the 100 kna ($20) and ended up walking the entire circuit. The views are amazing and plenty of photo ops. Stopped for a bier half way around and that was great too. When you look at the roofs it is incredible to look at the new versus old roofs from the war. Amazing to think... More

What a lovely stroll we had along the walls of this unique and beautiful city. We went in the afternoon on a hot day, which I don't recommend, but it did afford us spectacular pictures with great light.

This takes around an hour to walk around, well worth the 100kuna (roughly £11) to take in all of the old town!

We really enjoyed the walk around the walls and they really helped to give us a feel for the place. However - they are a complete rip off! At £10 for a ticket, it seems ridiculously expensive (especially as an out of date guide book told me they used to be £1/2!)

Costs 100kn to get access to the city walls. It was 40 degrees the day we walked around it but there are great views. Would recommend early morning when it's cooler!

Nice view, and a nice walk. Remember to bring your camera, and maybe some water, as it can get very hot.

The walk of the wall is pretty much the only main thing to do in Dubrovniks Old Town. It is great however it's €20 each which is quite expensive to walk about 200 stairs and a verrrry long way in 35 degree heat. The views were incredible but try not to do it in the middle of the day and... More
