This is a long walk with some very steep steps (especially the final lookout) but it is very much worth it!! The old town is incredible to gaze out over from up on the walls - you feel transported back in time. The views outside of the old town are equally as stunning. Give it a go!

I couldn't believe you can walk the whole way around the city. I took so many nice photos from above. You can see how people hang their washed clothes outside the window to dry them on the fresh air. Just like they did centuries ago.

The walk along the city walls was one of the most outstanding points of our 21 day trip to Dalmatia. Take your time to enjoy the views along the way and try to choose a beautiful sunny day. Getting to the proper spot to buy tickets was not well marked was the only "dislike".

Took about two hours to go round. Some steps are quite steep but there are hand rails. Take plenty of water with you as there is no shade up there. Stunning views which make the effort so worthwhile.

Whether you are a Game Of Thrones fan or just looking for some beautiful views, this is the place to go! There was a fee, I believe it was around $10 or so, and it was quite a bit of walking so definitely not for small children or for those who have difficulty doing stairs or long-distances. The views were... More

First of all I would like to say that Dubrovnik is a must see place in Croatia for sure, but also, I would be so free to claim it's a superb world heritage worth visiting. So this review isn't 3 star review because something's wrong about the town or the walls per say. I have an issue with the price... More

We had a short stop in Dubrovnik, but we knew this was on our list. We always enjoy visiting Old Town areas in Europe, and we are also big Game of Thrones fans, so it was a no-brainer. There was a very short line for the entrance that was right inside the Pile gate, and the cost was reasonable. There... More

Try to start your walk around the city walls as early as possible in the morning to avoid the hordes of cruise ship passengers who swarm through the Old Town all day long. The views are incredible, whether you are looking across the red roofs of the city itself or out across the deep blue sea to the little island... More

This was one of my favorite things to do in Dubrovnik. Amazing views, and a great walk. Must do while in Dubrovnik.

Absolutely mind blowing experience. Took so many photos, wow factor at every turn. Walked it first thing in the morning and it was so great, had to do it later in day before closing time and get a whole different perspective with the photos. Cannot imagine it in summer, some spots are so narrow, but then the bars would be... More
