We really enjoyed this walk around the old city walls on a clear but cooler spring morning in March. There were several other people also walking the trail but not enough to be intrusive and we had many of the vistas to ourselves. Walk can be started in two locations and either would be fine depending on where you are... More

Magnificent views of the Old City and it's surroundings. Three entrances are available, so you do not have to do the whole circle but it is definitely recommendable to do it.

Take you camera because the sights from that height are worth the walk. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Great views to see the outer wall of the old town. About one hour long. You can enter near the secondary gate and old harbour.

Not to be missed but a bit strenuous, however it is certainly worthwhile making the effort as the views over both old town and out to sea are incredible.

Only part of this review that you need to be concerned about is if you have trouble with climbing steps. There can be a lot of them but some areas you don't have to do. If you don't have issues with this then you have to do the city wall walk. No point in visiting this wonderful city and not... More

This experience certainly lived up to the hype. He spent a leisurely two hours slowly wondering around the walls taking in the views. Simply a must for all visitors to the Old Town

A great walk around Dubrovnik with stunning views. When we went, the Walls were only open from 9am to 3pm so when we arrived at 2.30pm they refused us entry so not a good start. We arrived the next day in good time but surprised at a charge of £10 per person, which for Walls that had been there for... More

It is not only a good view point of top city roofs but great for seeing ocean. It is enough for 1~2 hours with taking photo and walk through.

A must see! Would recommend starting at the Ploce Gate instead of Pile Gate. This way you have the uphill climb and 'wow' views at the start when your enthusiasm is at it's greatest. Would also suggest getting there early ahead of the cruise ship/coach tours if possible as it gets pretty busy otherwise and takes ages to walk all... More
