So much history, you just have to appreciate it. We really enjoyed all the pathways and exploring where they lead.

The early morning light is great for photos when the terracotta tiles are really rich in colour, and the walls were definitely less busy. That said you can normally sit and wait for people to pass. We thought... More

From looking at itineraries online, all suggested this was the first thing you did when you arrive in Dubrovnik and definitely agree. It gives you good bearings but also get to see how beautiful the city is by almost unwrapping like a present. Its not too expensive and took us about an hour. Its not something that should be rushed.... More

One of the highlights of our trip. You get a bit leg weary but its worth it. Little guy in drinks kiosk is the only service oriented person we encountered on our trip

Just got back from Dubrovnik and would say this is a 'must do'. Go at the end of the day or early morning if possible to beat the crowds and the heat. Some reviews have commented on the 100 kn ticket price but we thought it was totally worth the money. The walls themselves are magnificient and an impressive feat... More

Ventured round the walls as part of the Dubrovnik Card offer, it took us approx 1.5 hours to get around the walls, stopping for photos and visiting each of the optional sections. It was 24 degrees according to the weather forecast but felt much hotter upon the walls compared to street level, there were few shaded sections. Our one day... More

Visiting and walking on the Old Dubrovnik City Walls is a top attraction and must do. There are a few entrances and if you have the energy, you can walk the two miles of the walls and see the Old City within the walls and new City outside. The views are spectacular and the structures are well preserved! Wear good... More
