We were on a cruise and decided to explore Dubrovnik on our own beginning with the city walls. It was a great activity for those without walking disabilities. There were so many great views along the way. There were even rest rooms along the walk. We were so pleasantly surprised. Even the street vendors spoke very good English. We worked... More

The views from the city walls are superb. Your camera will be kept very busy as you wander around the walls, along with harbour and the shops within the walls. It is well worth the visit for two,or three days to get time to see everything.

Wonderful walk round. You get stunning views and nice meeting other walkers along the way. Need to be fit though - lots of steps -steep in places.

In Croatia they really know how to make the most out of their tourist attractions and they tend to be a bit pricey, this was no exception. Despite this it was a real experience and i would still recommend it.

Dubrovnik is a perfect city. The walls are magnific! You absolutely have to go to the walls but don't forget to get lost in the small streets

The town walls are huge and impressive. Unfortunately, they were heavily damaged by war in 1805 and again in 1991. So, the ancient walls have all been repaired and/or reconstructed.

We spent a whole morning walking the city walls and what an experience it was, so glad that we did it! Absolutely stunning views looking across Dubrovnik and a great place to get some fabulous photos. Definitely something that you cannot miss out when visiting Dubrovnik!

Photographs of Dubrovnik's famous terracotta rooftops are often splashed across travel supplements and guide books but there's nothing like climbing the walls and seeing them for yourself. Whether it's the panorama of the ocean, the harbour or the rooftops themselves, I found the views took my breath away. There are lots of steps and some steep slopes which I wouldn't... More

A whole different view from the tops of the walls. Fabulous at sunset. Probably a little invasive for the people who live here.
