Even though it's very hot and may takes a bit effort to walk through the whole city wall, it definitely worth the effort. Don't forget to climb up the fort to get the best view of the old town and the sea view.

This is well worth doing, but be prepared - there are no 'facilities' once you're up there except on the bit overlooking the sea. Take water with you. There is only one 'entry' allowed, so you can't get 'on and off'. There are some very steep steps - but with handrails. The views are well worth the effort.

The City Walls are walkable with several entry and exit points along the way. There are some bars along the way and the whole area is one way. As long as you choose a reasonably quiet time it is an enjoyable experience. Do hire the information tape.

Most guidebooks say this is "a must see." I agree. Bring some water, because it is a warm and sunny walk! The views are spectacular.
