We visited at the end of October/early November and were lucky enough to stop in malvasija wine bar before it shut for the winter. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. He explained the menu and recommended a number of wines that were excellent. As the season was ending, he gave us extra glasses for free as well as... More

We stumbled across this little bar by accident (and actually firstly ordered a beer..) and we went back every night after. There's fantastic local wines on offer, which is accompanied by even better service. The owner is so passionate about the wines he produces and sells, you begin to become excited about which wine to choose next. A must visit... More

Our host/owner was very knowledgable about local wines. We did a flight of recommended whites and a flight of reds which were quite good The best we had was a Zinfandel which tips all others. It wasn't the jammy sweet blend we usually get

We found this little wine bar by chance when walking on the Main Street, and it is by far the best place we have visited to date in Dubrovnik. The owner is really helpful, and really knows his stuff! Would recommend to anyone visiting the old town, you won't regret it!

If I had more thumbs I would raise them! This gem of a wine bar is incredible -Nicholas is so interesting and lives/breathes wine! Makes the experience so enjoyable and has much better wine then D'vino wine bar. Only olives and snack cheese available so plan to eat dinner elsewhere. Support this local business!

We really enjoyed our visit to this little gem. The host - whose family makes many of the wines - was very friendly, spoke terrific english (although he insists not) and very knowledgeable about the wine. We really appreciated the time he spent with us explaining the wines (we chose one of the red flights so there were 5 wines... More

We found this on trip advisor and thought it would be over rated as sometimes they are on trip advisor. However, well deserves the spot it has. The young man was very genuine offering a cheaper wine than that asked for due to the harvest of grapes. Wine lovely and understand that it is a family business. Rain started and... More

We stumbled on this place by accident but went back on the next two nights. They staff were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the products. We were able to taste a large amount of the locally produced wines during our visits. there were so many I liked it would be difficult to recommend only one.

Make this your last stop if you want to end on a truly high note. Visited other wine bars, even the highest rated one, and while the atmosphere was fun and the service was friendly, Malvasija is something special. Nikola was not only knowledgable, he aims to please and offered wines not even on the menu. The fact that this... More
