We stopped here on a rainy and rather disappointing trip to Old Town Dubrovnik. Having just arrived from Split, we found the amount of tourists totally distracting by comparison. That is, until we stumbled upon this little gem - and Nicholas. We stayed for hours, hearing about wines, life in Croatia and many other things. He was so welcoming. If... More

After reading other reviews, my boyfriend and I went to try this place. We were not disappointed! The service (Petra and Nicholas) was exceptional, not just in terms of wine knowledge, but general attentiveness and interesting conversation. The wine was amazing, we too enjoyed the tasting option...the cheese and olives also went down a treat! I cannot thank these lovely... More

What a charming place this is. If you are heading up Stradum from the port, it is up the 4th or 5th side street on your right. The host Nikola is so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to meet him. Not being wine buffs he suggested the wine tasting and took a little time explaining the... More

Malvasija is run buy a passionate wine connoisseur who offers various wine tasting paddles. He makes excellent recommendations on what to taste and when we orderd our tasting sheets we received free plates of olives, cheese and crackers. The man who runs Malvasija has special relationships with wine makers in the region so he can organise wine tours and can... More

We tried the red and white wine tastings, three of each - all good, came with olives, cheese and melon. Lovely guy served us - extremely knowledgeable about all the wines.

We throughly enjoyed this place! Nikola is excellent and suggested some divine wine! We also enjoyed the cheese and olives we were given during our tastings!

Choose the option for 3 different wines and let the guy choose them for you. You will get 3 lovely Croatian wines and a bowl of olives and cheese to enjoy them with.

Visited this wine bar again after previous holiday visits. The standard of service from Nikola is exceptional especially with his knowledge of Croatian wines and his very friendly approach to all of his customers. As well as providing excellent wine he also provides complimentary cheese and olives. The Croatian wines are priced very reasonable and discounts can be given on... More

We found this wine bar by accident and are so glad we did. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we opted for a wine tasting. The waiter selected Croatian wines based on our usual preferences and talked us through each one, all done at a very reasonable price. He can also arrange a trip to a local vineyard... More
