A WONDERFUL CITY

We ate in a family-owned farmhouse. They prepared all the food for us, served it and played music. Then, they took us on a tour of their farm. Very gracious people.

From our base at the Hilton Imperial Hotel in Dubrovnik, my wife and I visited Salt, Mostar, southern Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Bay of Kotor, the Budvar Riviera, and points in-between with excellent guide, Josco. Both the tours and Josco are highly recommended. Since day-touring is so dependent on the guide, a couple words about Josco: He is a former school teacher... More

We had a great experience doing our day trip to Montenegro, stopping in Kotor and Budva. Our guide, Stjepan, was a Dubrovnik native who speaks excellent English, so he was able to provide a huge amount of information about and cultural context for the places we were visiting. (He's also a very safe driver.) The drive provided stunning views and... More

It was a last minute decision to sign up for a 1-day Montenegro Tour with Doria Ltd and we didn't regret it. Stjepan was our guide that day and he was very informative and patient with our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed Montenegro; it has a rustic feel and is also not so commercialized and touristy yet. Thank you for a... More

Lots to see...have a good pair of waliking shoes as the hard marbled streets are tiring...we saw it on our first dayin torrential rain, ang got trapped in the Rectors Palace for 30 minutes by rain the flooded the streets to a depth of 10cm....the water was cascading from the gargoyles from the Cathedral roof likle a New York street... We had a wonderful time seeing Dubrovnik and doing the Game of Thrones Tour. It is such a beautiful city and Robert was very informative, accommodating and a lot of fun. He gave us a lot of behind-the-scenes information about the show. It was fun to see pictures of particular scenes while we were standing on the spot where it... More

Filip was excellent - he was very kind and patient with my 11 year old son and he was incredibly informative and went out of his way to make our tour interesting and special. I would highly recommend him. Of all the guides we had in Croatia, he was one of the best.

Our guide, Marijana Srgota, picked us up at our ship in a timely & friendly manner. As she drove us around the beautiful highlights. she shared the history & culture of Croatia. Our first stop was the beautiful resort town of Cavtat. We walked along the harbor & learned about the importance of this wonderful port area & the incredible... More

We had the pleasure of visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia in October and took an 8 hour private tour with Tomislav Matana. The tour was perfect and we had a lovely day! Tom met us at our cruise ship with a comfortable and roomy van to accommodate our party of four with several very tall persons. We drove to a small medieval... More

We had an excellent day on the Mostar and Herzegovina tour with our guide/driver Filip. He was funny, helpful, informative and chilled out - which was lovely. We particularly appreciated that unlike with some other guides we've had in the past, he didn't feel he had to fill every second with patter, instead allowing us some quiet time to absorb... More
