Great beach about a 10 min walk from Dubrovnik old town. We wanted to get some time on the beach in the lovely turquoise waters of the Adriatic whilst in Croatia and after a morning of exploring Dubrovnik took a short walk to this beach and spent a couple of hours there. From the beach you have a great view... More

There aren't many beaches to pick from in Dubrovnik, but this is a lovely location & worth a visit. Great service, great food (although a touch expensive) and very relaxing environment.

Went with my husband today. Easy to find: exit the Ploče gates on the east of old town and walk a couple minutes until you see the huge signs "east west beach club" and take the stairs down. We went down the first flight which had us exiting to the beach through the vip area, but just a few steps... More

Pebbly so you may want to wear flip flops. Good for snorkelling, clean water. Quite busy as you'd expect.

A perfect location just outside the city but has a harsh stony beach. A little expensive but so convenient. Double deck chair, parasol, towels, water 300 Kuna (£30 ish) will also bring you food and drink to you.

It must not have been very crowded when we were here, as the other reviewers are complaining about. Crowded, but plenty of space to find an umbrella (30 kuna for the entire day on the 'free' side of the beach), spread out and enjoy. The water is calm, gorgeous and refreshing. We picked up sandwiches and beer at the Pemo... More

Beach is located in a beautiful part of the Dubrovnik with the beatiful view on the island of Lokrum. There is a beach bar East-west. Food is really great and everything is in some kind of relaxed atmosphere. On the other hand, prices are bit too expensive. A great compliment goes to staff, especially to the guy working in the... This is a tiny stretch of partly rocky and partly sandy beach, but it is hard to tell as every square inch is covered with people. The water however is magnificent and the views are beautiful!

It is a nice beach, with a great view out to Lokrum, but it's way too crowded. We managed to get a tiny spot on a couple of rocks, so we didn't stay for long, maybe half an hour. There are lots of other nice beaches in the nearby area, which are not that crowded. The V.I.P area was not... More
