The trail is the stations of the cross. There are 14 stations altogether. Takes 45 mins to 1 hour. Save the cable car money for wine and food at the end of the day.
Lovely walk, amazing views over the old town and of the islands. My aim had been to walk up to the fort, go to the museum and then take the cable car down. However, the museum was so interesting that I was there two hours and missed the last cable car down. By this time it was also dark. So... More
Took cable car up Mount Srdj with my wife and 13 year old daughter (buy combined cable car/museum tickets, its cheaper than separately) Excellent experience. The views are wonderful and we all enjoyed the museum dedicated to the 'Serbian Invasion of Dubrovnik'. One tip, there's extensive detail in each of the exhibition rooms. So, turn left after entering the museum... More

Hard to find the entrance to walkway!!! Go to the tourist information just outside of old town to get directions. The walk has a steady incline but not too very difficult, takes about 45-1hr. View from the top is amazing, definitely walk don't waste the money on the cable car!

Fortunately their guide was getting everyone organized so my friend and I quickly got our tickets and got in line for the next car ahead of them! :) Beautiful day and great views on the way up. Go the... More

This hill provides the best view of Dubrovnik and The Sea. You can see from there top of mountains in Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro. During good weather and high visibility its possible to see shapes of Italy.
