Great View ... quite a hike, esp when it's warm.

I hiked up and took the tram down. Good way to go if you're in shape and don't want the pounding of fairly steep downhill walking. The trail is pretty rough in places ... rocks... read more

I hiked up and took the tram down. Good way to go if you're in shape and don't want the pounding of fairly steep downhill walking. The trail is pretty rough in places ... rocks and ruts. I hiked later in the day, but suggest going in the morning. Talk a taxi to the trail head; I didn't and wished... More

It was being worked on, even though very new. There is a walking track up the hill behind the city and a motor road that goes up the side so you can still get the superb view. It seems quite expensive. The Atlas airport bus leaves from the bus stop at the bottom cable car station.

Srdj or Srđ as the locals call it is a hill overlooking the city of Dubrovnik and all of it's surroundings. On it's peak there is a fortress called Imperial. Build by the Napoleon forces after it conquer the city. The view from up here is stunning, the whole city and the surrounding islands are presented to you. There is... More

There is a hiking trail to the top of Mount Srdj that we chose to take because we like to walk and to avoid the crowds at the cable car. To get to the trailhead, you walk up a series of stairways. We were given directions at our B&B, and had no trouble finding it. The views from the trail... More

It´s the best place to admire Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea. It is spectacular to go there for sunset.

When you're on the walls in Dubrovnik, you can see the town from above. But if you want to see the whole region, take the cable car to Srđ. If you're going there to see the town - it's not worth it, the town walls are a better option in the case. But Srđ gives you a wonderful chance to... More

The views a are spectacular. What more can I say! We were lucky when we arrived as there were no queues for the Ropeway, but if you get there and there is, it is well worth the wait.

Not sure why this is called the Ropeway because it is all trekking and no ropes. The trek is not for the faint of heart, but the views + angles up and down the coast are wonderful. Of course, one could take the cable car, but it is quite expensive. The views from the mountain are worth the effort, as... More

Fantastic views with a lovely breeze on a hot day. Not much once up there apart from the views but worth a look all the same. The cable car is reasonably priced and nice and smooth and there is a great restaurant at the top. We only visited during the daytime but would love to return one day on an... More
