Fantastic, must see adventure to ride up to the top of Mount Srdj in the cable car instead of walking! It is 200 kuna fare round trip and 45 minutes is plenty of time to see the sites and a quick visit to the old fort at the top. Bring your camera - you can get someone to take your... More

A trip to the mountain takes 5-7 minutes. From the top you get most beautiful vistas of the old city and of the entire Dubrovnik Riviera. Prepare your camera. Also a very nice restaurant on top. Just enjoy your meal or icecream with your beloved.

This 412-meters tall mountain just behind the walled city of Dubrovnik, is pretty impressionable, not just because of its impossibly unpronounceable name but also because of the amazing panoramic views it promises of Dubrovnik. Apart from the clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea, you also get unobstructed views of the entire Dubrovnik Old Town, demarcated clearly by... Read the... More

Quite a nice view from the top. You can visit the fort and it has good information about the history of the fort; i.e. from Napoleon until the recent war with the Serbs. It takes a little while for me to find the ticket office.

So much fun, views are great, museum at the top is worth a stop as well. Go on off hours if possible though because the lines can get long and the cars themselves get crowded and hot.

Having taken the cable car up the mountain we decided to follow the path back down again. As others have said, the views are incredible and the walk took about an hour including stops for photos along the way. It's worth wearing sturdier footwear as the path is very rocky in places.

The Mount Srdj Ropeway was a beautiful hike. The path is quite rocky, and you really have to watch your footing, but the hike is not incredibly steep given the switchback's. There is a sense of accomplishment as when you view the peak from the base of old town, it appears daunting. At the top the view of the old... More

Fantastic views... Skip the restaurant, unless you come just for the view. Definitely a must do while in town!

Spent a good week in Dubrovnik area, and really enjoyed it, but especially an evening trip up Mt Srdj via the cable car! Great to see sunset over the islands. The terminus includes restuarants (indoor & outdoors), toilets, viewing terraces on three levels. But be sure to head west (turn left) past the old fort for best views of sunset!!

The start of the path is hard to find and the surface is very rocky, but the views are great on the way up - on a hot day a large beer at the top was reward for the climb - it took about 40 minutes going up, 20 minutes going down - but a slower pace would probably be... More
