Slightly expensive way to spend an afternoon. 5D claim is over the top as the museum makes use of 3D plus some other nice effects. Nonetheless an interesting enough afternoon if you want to learn a little more about the locals and their history and a pleasant enough introduction to the town. Ideal for rainy or even very hot days.

We went to this show because it was raining outside and we wanted to learn more about the history of Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, it was overpriced, lacked substance, and was all-in-all, rather cheesy. I did learn a little about Croatian history, but I wouldn't recommend the show to anyone else.

Went along out of curiosity. Not really for adults but would be ok for kids as lots of lights noise etc although mine would have loked a run around the walls better

We got free tickets for this as a result of booking some tours. Thank god we didn't pay money to see this superficial, dull piece of Nationalistic claptrap. The music sounds like it was written by a eurovision reject. The animation and acting in it is awful, all fake beards and bad stereotyping of Muslims and Serbs. The history is...

Dear Kilser,
Thank you very much for your review and feedback.
It is my understanding that you did not get the purpose of the programe. The whole purpose of the 3D show is to introduce visitors with the most important facts and events in the rich history of Dubrovnik.
If interested in an accurate portrait of Dubrovnik's position during the...

Overall I think this is definitely something to do in Dubrovnik if the weather is poor or if you have seen the most important sights and have a half hour to spare. It is very different to what I expected and displays some very unusual effects using water and lighting. The music may go for slightly too long but the...

If you are somewhere near Dubrovnik you must visit Visia Dubrovnik! I ever never saw a museum that enjoys you and teaches you history!
They use 5D technology and everything here is attractive if you like technology and also history.

I went to Visia 5D museum on recommendation from our apartment owner and I must say I'm not sorry I went there! Who would imagine such a marvel is hidden inside Dubrovnik's might walls!
This unique museum shows you the history and culture of Dubrovnik in a modern way - 3D, holograms, artificial wind and earthquake - "well, beam me...

There are now two cinemas in Dubrovnik's old town - one at either end of Stradun, the 300+ year old white limestone main street in Dubrovnik. This new one uses the same infrastructure as the Visia Dubrovnik 5D, and shows 3D+ movies/films at various times of the day/evening. I saw 3D+ because you get the glasses for the 3D piece,...

Looks like this was put together using lots of high tech noise and flash and little know how on how to make it work! The different media types do not mesh together well. Shallow history, more flash than substance.
