After touring the city walls and spending a lot of time in Dubrovnik, the last thing to do suggested by my friends was the cable car. At first I was hesitant (Oh ok, another point of view of Dubrovnik) but after going all the way up I was overwhelmed. The best pictures we took were there, and we spent time... More

Great views from the top. Sunset can be special. Ticket queues can be lengthy at peak times, especially for sunset, may need a jacket at night.

Really good view from the top of the cable car. And worth visiting museum at the top for interest in the homeland war. Not too cheap for individuals but worth considering getting a one way ticket and walking either up or down for the athletic minded. Definitely worth doing.

standing at the bottom i wondered if the cable car was just another tourist rip off. Dubrovnik has quite good views at ground level so was the trip up really necessary? Yes, Yes and Yes! Do not hesitate. the views, up, down and at the top are phenomonal! Whats more the bar, with' probably the best view' in the world,... More

It was very expensive to use the cable car and when you get to the top the views are certainly excellent but it doesn't take long to take it all in. There is a restaurant if you want to stay longer and I guess that would make it more worthwhile, but of course at an extra price.

Great views, obviously. We took the cable car up and hiked back down, which was actually the nicest part of our visit. We personally found the walk up a bit too challenging, but going down will take you about an hour and will give you some lovely views.

Worth a trip. You can see most of the coast and the sunsets are the best. Costs around £10 return per person. Restaurant at the top but was very busy when we went up - and slightly more pricey although Croation food is relatively cheap. You can walk up there but it takes about 40 mins I believe.

I am scared of heights but this was fine. It is by far the easiest way to get up to the fort and war museum and is efficient and safe.

For £10 return I thought this was a good little trip up. Super views of the old town and the panoramic restaurant does a good selection of hot/cold and alcoholic / non alcoholic beverages. We went up at 330 and only waited for about 5 mins. When we came down at 530 the queue was already substantial as people were... More
