The cable car is modern, quick, and feels safe. The views are spectacular. The restaurant at the top is good value given its unique location although obviously gets very busy at peak times. This is well worth the money, you get a stunning view of Dubrovnik and the museum at the top about the homeland war is an eye opener into how Croatia and Dubrovnik coped with the war. It was very humbling but definitely worth the trip in the cable car (even when you're scared of heights!)

Such a good vantage point for photos, and very good Homeland War exhibition at the fort. Not a scary cable car ride if you're not keen on heights.

The cable car starts of a bit off from the old town, but you'll find it. You can get tickets from a kiosk across the street from the northern gate of the Old Town. Lovely views from the top of the mountain gives a good overview of the area and historic city. Go later in the day when the lines are not very long; also consider that, at times, you may have to wait for the return trip.

The perfect way to get a bird's eye view of the city. It's pricey but well worth the spend. Don't visit on a right schedule. The queue to go back down was lengthy as there were cruise passengers visiting. By waiting until the rush had gone, we got a great view and no hassle

If you are in Dubrovnik, you have to go use the cable car. I think it was 90 kuna, which is not cheap, but great to see Dubrovnik from above. My mistake was not getting the combined cable car and war museum ticket.
