W used to visit Riva promenade in the evening. It was full of people and full of life. Great place to be if you are interested in the urban life of the city.

Split is buzzing with life especially during summer, and the festival. So if you want some relaxing time, and cool down a little bit, this is one of the places. The breeze is taking away some of the heat, and seeing all the boats and vessels coming in or just floating away in the harbor is rather relaxing. Great photo... More

The seaside road in around Split was winding and delightful. I wanted to jump out at every turn for countless photo opportunities. I definitely recommend the Croatian coastline!

Had a pleasant stroll around the wharves after the hectic crowds in the Old City and more people where hopping off ferries & boats to add to the numbers ! A pretty clean and pleasant smelling Harbour with a multitude of boats & ships. The locals love their yachts and water sports and many cruises are on offer.

If yo came with train or bus, waiting for ferry you are on Riva. There are lots of small shops, coffee bars, fast food and you can enjoy in view on sea.

Exit the town old town from the southern Brass Gate or from Brace Radica Square. It's a nice park like harbor walk. It's the only place to see how big the Diocletian palace is as from the inside you can only see bits and pieces. It's also a good place to get a snack (eg ice cream) and relax as... More

We took a walk and had a great time. There are lot of stands with domestic food and products. Lights in the dark and reflection on the sea.. magic..

A Bee Hive of activity but also a great place for a stroll along the waterfront, have a coffee or meal in one of the numerous eateries. Be careful of the slippery marble like limestone pavers, highly polished from wear over eons , lovely to look at but a hazard in the wet. Home to the local Fresh Fish Markets... More
