It is a very busy place but in my opinion surely worth it because you can buy your groceries side by side with the locals. I would go there to buy some figs!

very cute place, little square, connecting Riva with palace, there is located one statue of father of Croatian literature, Marko Marulic. Very stylish with contrast from urban Riva and ancient palace.

This place is so wonderful - so much wonderful fruit, veggies, and all the other foods that you can think of. They have bakeries that sell the most delicious breads and treats. A great place to stop and pick up what you need for a picnic on the beach or just a snack in your room. Lots of other shops... More

Always have to visit markets and green ones so interesting as can really see what people eat, buy, not just tourists, although lots of those, too...also tchotchkes and assorted souvenirs, but giant hub of fresh fruits and vegetables commerce...maybe not exotic like Asian produce, but can still get good flavor for local life.

A colorful spot with an abundance of fruits. A beautiful impression of a local market, surrounded by other stalls for flowers, souvenirs and clothes. Nice atmosphere, and don't forget the Fishmarket in one of the main streets.

I loved not only to see the colors of different kinds of fresh fruits but also taste them alongside Adriatic Coast. You can also buy olive oil, honey, and souvenir. Enjoy it!

The Fruit's Square is well worth visiting. Although the fruits are a bit pricey, it is a living market which is frequented by locals too. The range of produce and the seasonal variety should not be missed. Do visit the Fish Market also.

It was out of season for the town and the market was still flowing!!! I have never seen so many fruits, veg, etc. I would say if you have the time you should go to the market. I love European Markets but this one by far is the best I have seen yet!!

I see that all foreigners are wrong and mix the town square with a green market. In the past, there was really selling frui market, in that this is a small square named. Today, there is, in a central position, monument to the our poet from the 15th century Marko Marulc, it made by our world famous sculptor Ivan Mestrovic.... More
