This was a good walk for us, a little hilly but not too bad. It probaby took us 2 hours to walk all around the peninsula but we stopped off at Bene beach for a drink and a swim. Unfortunately we should have guessed that there would be mosquito's but we failed to put any repellant on and ended up... More

A visit to Marjan is a must if you want to enjoy a lovely walk and the beautiful view. We spent an afternoon enjoying a couple of drinks in the restaurant, looking out at the fantastic sight of Split town.

After walking through hot and hectic Split this is a great area to wander, breath, do sports, whatever you want. Just take your time to pass the cactus figs, butterflies and whatever you expect from a mediterranean park. Let your view enjoy the Adria from a shadowy place, pass some small churches or just hang around

You can walk up to Marjan from the city centre, through the lesser walked streets of Old Split, which are just are characterful and more insightful into the lives of current residents. Seamlessly blends into forested hill and on the far side there's lots of lovely spots of natural beauty; miniature valleys and hidden beaches and sporadic ruins. Don't miss... More

A great break from the hustle and bustle of the town, Marjan is peaceful and beautiful. Lots of little rocky outcrops as well as beaches for access to the clear blue sea, intriguing historical sites and wildlife. Lovely little bar overlooking the city too!

Get outside the city center if you have the time. Take a bathing suit and drop off the path and have your own little private rock overlooking the sea and islands beyond. Definitely a great place to do a nice hike and some fantastic sunbathing.

Just to be in the nature and have a nice panoramic view on the city below is amazing. It's unique and for sure worth to visit it. I had a nice walking tour there up to the ZOO and back. I'll do it again for sure cause it's perfect way to found out something specific about this part

We read before we went to Split that Croatian sunshine is deceptively hot, and this indeed proved to be the case. It was about 32 degrees during our visit, and it was almost unbearably hot after midday. The solution on a hot day is to get into the pine forests, enjoy the shade and hope for a cool breeze.
