If the crush of people in the old city finally gets to you and you want a calm break grab yourself a drink and head up to the park. It's just above the old city. There is a fountain, benches, lots of shade. The park is pretty small , but still a nice bit of relaxing green space to recover... More

This was a nice little park located next to the old city. I really liked being able to hear the crickets while sitting here.

We ventured into the day on one of our first days back in Split after two years. It was then that I came across some antiques stalls which were set up to one side of the park (next to the old hospital). The wares on the stalls were an eclectic mix of antiques (pre World War one), post World War... More

I went there last September in 2014 it was very nice. The people are great and the food was awesome. It is very peaceful. It is quiet and a very beautiful place to walk and have some alone time. I will definitely go back someday. I really enjoyed that park.

Quiet place to hang out in the evening. The location on the tripadvisor map us wrong, though. The park is just next to the Golden Gate in Split and not in Zagreb.

Well lit, plenty of benches to sit. We walked through this park to get home at 10pm and it was lovely. The fountain full of water and splashing everywhere. Very pretty.

Near the statue of the bishop of Nin, by the entrance of the palace this square is full of trees and benches to sit and rest while eating some snack bought in a pekarna/ bakery, or for locals, a meeting point before or after school.

This park has certainly changed from the way it looked 44 years ago. Modern street lighting and benches have taken away some of its charm (the same applies to all of old Split and the palace precinct when they got rid of the cobble stones). One of my relatives who lives close by stated that 'ladies' of the night' frequent... More

A park that was given a face lift a few years ago, it now has a water trough with a water fall on the end of it. Lots of benches for sitting down and old establish trees for shade all set round a centre fountain, the old park had more trees but this present one has less giving it a... More

...which looked way much better when it was neglected some 10 years ago, without the modern lamp posts and space-shuttle-like lights/benches. Frequented by the ladies of the night (even after renovation).
