An over rated playground but it is still worth a quick look to see what the hype is about.

Arcadia is about as Ukrainian as the hotel zone in Cancun is Mexican. It is definitely NOT off the beaten path for tourists. The area is geared for tourists. In the summer that is where the night club nightlife is. The day time beachclubs become the night time nightclubs. You pay to get in during the day and at night.... More

If I were to live here, I would have jumped off a balcony a long time ago. It is LOUD here in the evening, the bass thumps against the windows and your chest if you are outside. The lights are bright and your shades won't hide it. The people are young, in your face, and have an entitlement to do... More

Noisy all day and night, many MANY drunk patrons and the beaches were not as clean as Odessa city beaches. We stayed 2 days and 1 night and considered Arcadia to be for party people.

For people not sure whether to spend time in Odessa city centre or Arkadia which is the beach resort 10km away I would suggest the best solution is to stay in Arkadia. The brand new hotel Gagarinn is only 200m from the entrance to the Arkadia restaurant and beach complex. There is a great tram service (no. 5) which can... More

If you like noise, music from dust till down - Arcadia is your destination :). Kind of Ukrianian Ibiza! Full of beach clubs. But, in most of cases, in order to feel comfortable you will have to rent deckchair - otherwise in "free" part of the beach you will face too much people :(

We stayed at 12th floor apartments, which is situated directly at or even in the Arcadia district. The district is a nice tourist part of Odessa. New houses/buildings are built. Everything is a big step better in terms of modernity and the overall appearance. Has one of the best beaches in Odessa, too! Be aware that it's crowded in the... More

I have visited ODESSA in July but for whatever reason the clubs in Arcadia were not packed so me and my friend didn't get to see the pool and the beach parts of the clubs open so a bit disappointed. Still worth to see as a lot of beautiful and friendly girls, everyone dressed up in their finest. Even the... More

This whole district was built to attract tourists for a comfortable stay. Pretty swimming pools with overpriced cocktails, young people looking for love. The Beach became so packed with places like Ibiza, Bono, Ithaka, Portofino, you hardly see the sea anymore. The side side of luxury are the soviet kiosks were they sell disgusting food and rip off the tourists... More
