A nice walk you can do for free. Make sure to see the bridge of keys. Lovers write their name of locks and lock them to the bridge and throw the key to the water below. Ugly to look at but the sentiment is lovely More

If You go to Potemkin Stairs, harbour is close enough. Not much to do, some restaurant boats and bars, but go and see the strange "Golden Child" statue... More

Walk out to the Odessa Hotel (and look at the little seafarers' church there) and look at the working port - cargo, passengers, Volga ... and cranes moving 24 hours a day. Now think back to London 1890 and (minus the sails) you see the same industry ... Pretty? No. Fascinating? Yes More

An summer afternoon wandering through the old city is not complete without visiting the port - A mexican sailing ship was in the harbour and we were allowed on board to have a look around. More

The port of Odessa in the Black Sea has a lot of historic things to tell you. If you have seen the film of Eisenstein "The Battleship Potemkin", the Potemkin sailor monument is a must to be seen. Pay attention that it has been recently relocated in Yekaterininskaya street. Another monument related to the film of Eisenstain is Potemkin Stairs... More

And when I tried to send it back they quoted me twice what it cost me to get it too Ukraine. To make matter worst... More

Unfortunately I did not listen to my friend. I wanted to ship a car to Moldova. Odessa seemed to be the closest port. I was advised NOT to ship through Odessa, that I should ship it to Germany and then drive it or have it shipped to Moldova by truck. I wish I had listened. Three weeks after arrival at... More
