This is the heart of city. And you can feel it at night time. When bans will plan live music just on the street, somene will dance. Plenty of restraunts, with different kind of cuisine.

The main street in Odessa, Deribasivksa Oritza (street) is known for its great restaurants and shopping markets. It has an older European flavor which is so much a part of this City's charm.

On the map Deribasovska connects old city center (New Bazar area) with newer one (Pushkinska and so on). In its pedestrian part - between Preobrazhenska and Katerynynska, its loved by locals to walk if there is a purpose and stroll if there is none. Its especially so during any off-hours - mornings, lunch breaks, evenings, weekends, holidays and any other... More

A nice walking street full of cafes and shops. Lots of 19-th century buildings. Good for sightseeing, shopping, food and just enjoying the atmosphere. Guided tours of the city start there, electric cars are reasonably priced, horse-drawn carriages are on the expensive side.

This street is the heart of Odessa whether you want to walk around and explore or just sit down, drink some chocolate and watch the passing parade. There are many interesting and photogenic buildings which reflect the diverse background of the founders of Odessa.

I haven`t been in Odessa for a while, but this street hasn`t change much, still cosy, clean, lively and great ambiance.

Visited in March and while "ok", I can see where it would be better in summer. Many non Ukrainian restaurants in central area, even a really good Uzbek place called Andijon. Some high price places given the tourists so better to check off of main street. Still nice to walk and check out the sites.
