THE street you must visit

Deribasovska Street is in the heart of Odessa and sitting in one of the outdoor cafes you feel like you could be in Paris. Try Kompot cafe. It is simply wonderful.

This is a must see attraction. It is a great street to see the flavor of the city. Everyone comes here to relax and sit at the sidewalk cafes to watch all the locals and tourists come and go.

This place is full of activity on a warm summer evening. All sorts of performers, some nice open bars and an insight into Odessa culture. For the male you'll see some of the most amazing looking women on the planet stroll by without any fuss.

Central street with many cafes and restaurants. very beautiful buildings around. but beware of loud and crowds. almost everybody is going there and making noise. also city markets and open air exhibitions are there. so, if you are looking for uite place to relax, its not there.

This district is geared for tourists. The 'pedestrians only' precinct borders on the city park. Think Italian volta with country show amusements, boutiques and restaurants. During the heat of the day, the locals are notably absent, apart from the hardy wait/ers /resses manning the many outdoor eating establishments, the balloon sellers and the pony ride girls. As the sun goes,... More

Incredible walking experience with many shops, restaurants, cafes, and a nice park setting. Bike race, and kids enjoying some summer water "sports" while we were there. Worth a visit, and a walk.

Before renovations - that is, 10-15 years ago - that was obligatory place to visit in Odessa. Nowadays, it's overcrowded and commercialized. You'll get much more of Odessa strolling nearby streets (especially, Hoholya Street, Pushkinska Street, etc.), especially if you take time and visit yards (Odessa dvoriki).
