Beautiful hotel and grounds with a swimming pool, ruins, art galleries and museum. At night it is very enchanting all lit up with candles. If you have time visit the restaurant which is also very good. Highly recommened

Must see, especially on weekend night when they light the candles. Beautiful compound. Don't forget the Chocolate. Also, take the shuttle to thier restaurant up in hills(I think el torrador?) Amazing views and food. Volcano Fuego was spewing while we had lunch.

You have to visit this hotel just to see the museum. The whole hotel is built "on" a historical church with a lot of interesting things to see. I didn't stay at the hotel but visited the museum. Nice!

We went for lunch at the hotel and it was very good. We had pastas and enjoyed them. Service and prices were good. Then we took a stroll through the property. We liked it all and my husband really enjoyed the chocolate museum where he bought some exotic chocolates we had not see before.

Casa Santo Domingo is a beautiful hotel located on the grounds of some old ruins. Some, you need to pay to view, but there are a lot you can wander through if there are no events happening. Stunningly beautiful use of space, and merge of old and newer areas. Expensive hotel.
