This is really something to see...the sand cliffs and crashing shoreline below are breathtaking! Don't miss this if you are going to Martha's Vineyard. Its a bit of a drive from Edgartown but well worth it and the photographs we got were gorgeous!

Enjoyed the view of the cliffs from the observation area. Did not walk down to the water at this location. However, the cliffs and lighthouse view is stunning. I understand that due to the continuing erosion of the cliffs, the lighthouse will eventually need to be moved with local authorities beginning discussion on this issue now. The next few years... We stayed in Oak Bluff for our vacation, so the drive to the "Aquinnah Cliffs" took some time, but the view was very enjoyable. And the chowder and chili in the corner shop were very tasty.

This is a must see! In order to best appreciate the colors in the cliffs, take a walk down to the beach and view them close up. It takes a bit of time to get to this part of the island but it is definitely worth the trip. Don't leave the island without spending some time at this beautiful spot.

Make sure you are prepared to walk for a bit but every second is worth it. The cliffs are truly beautiful. Watching & hearing the waves roll in is truly amazing. This was my first time there & next time on the island, I will be sure to go again.

I've been here over and over and can't get enough of the view. The lil shops for gifts and food are excellent. Martha's gift shop is excellent.

Best thing on the island -well maybe not but definitely an amazing site. Absolutely amazing to think how long that beauty has "just been there" and how many people have been able to enjoy mother nature at her best. Definitely worth the time and energy

Great place to start your Martha's Vineyard trip. I recommend getting there before the noon rush of day trippers. Breakfast at the top of the cliffs offers good food and great views. The 10 min walk to the beach is well worth it for the colorful views of the cliff, however if your looking for an ideal beach experience you... More

You will need a car (or bike) and a bit of time -- at least 30 minutes drive from Vineyard Haven, but this a must see for any trip to Martha's Vineyard.

After a long scenic bus ride, we arrived at the cliffs. It's a 15 min walk down to the beaches and it's well worth the walk. Gorgeous views of the water & surrounding areas. The cliffs make for a gorgeous backdrop. The sand is really soft & the waves are rough. We spent a few hours there, just taking in... More
