The drink outside at the sunset is just unforgettable moment. The cuisine is sophisticated and the best dish is the lobster.

Visit the Wauwinet just to see the fall arrangements they have in the front of the building. If you are not staying there.. stop in for a drink , cozy bar and welcoming host Eric love to see people enjoy the property and the facilities.

We biked out to Wauwinet from town and spent time on a beautiful morning reading on the beach. After that, we went to Millies which is a few hundred feet from the beach. Very nice bar, very casual (as beach bars tend to be). We had the best shrimp tacos we've ever had here, and for Nantucket it was very... More

I was a guest for a cocktail hour here at the hotel. The view is lovely on a nice day. The landscaping is attractive. The outdoor seating was relaxed. It is an upscale environment. The menu is so limited. Nothing on it for dinner interested me. There are basically NO appetizers to enjoy with your cocktails unless you start getting... More

Best location in Nantucket and totally charming. This year, there seemed to be an absence of management supervision and service was less good than in the past. Toppers restaurant has always disappointed us. A lovely terrace, amazing wine list, good service, but the complex food exceeds the kitchen's abilityto make it taste more than just satisfactory.

This is expensive, but there is no better way to impress the heck out of someone than dinner at Topper's. You will be treated like royalty even though you're not. The last time we were there the lobster was even more amazing than before. Taken out of the shell and mysteriously improved and then reformed to make something fabulous even... More

This well-run intimate hotel cannot be topped from the bright-eyed welcome at the front desk, to the eagerness of the porters and just to virtually every member of the waitstaff you are transported to a magical world. And in that world is one of the most wonderful intimate bars I have ever seen anywhere. It's a well-kept secret. The Toppers... More

Is it the view? Is it the service? Is it the food? YES!!! What an amazingly beautiful spot for a late summer brunch on the veranda. My husband loved the salmon eggs benedict. We've enjoyed Toppers at the Wauwinet many times, and it's always a must-do when we visit Nantucket.

We were picked up by boat and offered champagne for the ride from the harbor to the Wauwinet. The entire evening was an experience we'll never forget.

The kitchen was closed by the time we arrived but they kindly accomodated us with a wonderful dessert and cheese plate to go with our night caps!
