We really had a great time. We were picked up by Tom and given a history lesson on nantucket and sites we were seeing was we made our way to the boat. We went with two very good sweet people. My husband caught 10 bluefish which were fun to bring in. Excellent experience!

With a minimum of three acres per lot in most of Tom Nevers, and with some of the most deserted beaches on the island, Tom Nevers is a frequently ignored part of Nantucket. Those who learn there know its quiet, peaceful, and beautiful.

Very remote location, no food or anyone near by, no cell phone service, very very rough atlantic waves, difficult to take children to, would not go back

There's nothing here. It's hard to get to. The waves were poor. There was a lot of litter floating in the water. All in all, it was a real dissapointment.

We enjoyed the beach with a family group. Pleanty of room, not too many people. The ocean there is more for adults, not children, but a nearby childrens park kept the kids busy.

Not really sure what we were going to find, we followed Tom Nevers Rd until we couldn't drive any further. Found ourselves on a dirt road behind some baseball fields that led to secluded beach houses and a gorgeous deserted beach. No one for miles, except the baby seal we found lying in the sun. Beautiful place

This is basically a residential neighborhood. If you have small children, they might enjoy the playground but there are good ones in town. A nice area just nothing special when compared to Pocomo, Surfside, etc.

A bit hard to get too but we found it no problem on bikes. Great surf and beach-clean and refreshing.

We went there to throw a football and play some softball. The beach was quite nice, and very clean. In addition, it was interesting to watch the seals bopping around in the water. There's a bit of a cliff when going from the parking area to the beach that you have to navigate with your beach chairs and umbrellas, but... More

The undiscovered beach/area of ACK. Very southeastern tip of ACK. Beautiful and private.
