We had an unusually beautiful day on Feb 1st to meander around the lighthouse and beach. Lots of fun shell searching.

Lucky to have learned about Ara's tours through a couple we met in our travels. They said it was the best tour they ever had and we were not let down. We texted her cell and got a quick response 508-228-1951. She let us walk all the way out to the lighthouse and take lots of pics.

Nice, easy walk from downtown. It's a good spot to get a view of the town of Nantucket and take some quintessential light house pictures.

Brant Point lighthouse is a short walk from town ... easy to reach down Easton Street. Although, you cannot go in to the lighthouse, it is a very picturesque spot.

Brant Point Lighthouse is within walking distance from the ferry. It is an ideal place for great pictures. It is fun to watch the fisherman and their catch. We even saw the ferry approaching Nantucket. We were told it is decorated for Christmas. Even though it was a quick stop, we enjoyed this iconic part of Nantucket.

We spent a good hour just taking in the view, sitting on the rocks under the lighthouse, and watching the fishermen pull the bluefish in. I took beautiful photos of the lighthouse and boats behind it. -Just what we went to Nantucket for-

As far as unmanned lighthouses go, it was just fine. However, I am pretty sure that I would not make a special trip to Nantucket (or even the beach it's on) to see it. Maybe a good backdrop for a picture of kids as its kind of small?

A beautiful little public access light house over looking Nantucket Harbor. Very we'll done and post card worthy. We saw it by boat, which I highly recommend, and it's free ( from the land, that is)

Lovely covered porch overlooking harbour. Food was great and friendly staff. Much more family-oriented than Toppers, if that is your thing. My filet mignon with blue cheese sauce was superb. Recommend!

Brant point light is easy to get to and is located right outside of town. There is no parking right by the light so you will need to park down the street a little ways and walk. The beach its located on is great and provides excellent views of the harbor. Its a must see while on island!
