Worth the walk from Broad Street! Just walking through Brant Point area and seeing the beautifully landscaped homes was worth the walk, even on a drizzly day. At the lighthouse, there were plenty of fishermen of the beach, though I did not see any swimmers. We watched the boats coming in and out of the harbor- very close to the... More

Something about having a lighthouse with your name on it... Holds a special spot for me and I picked up some artwork and anything else i could find with it on there. Anyway, nice vantage point for the whole harbor and jettie to watch all of the boats coming and going!

With so many gorgeous spots on Nantucket, this is a place that should be on your list -- lovely vistas of the harbor, and a simple walk from town.

This light is very easy to access; a brief 15-20 min walk from the pier. It did not appear you could actually go in the light, you can walk right up to the door. The light is low and located at the corner of the harbor. You can see a good view of the light from the ferry when you... More

We were in Nantucket as a day trip and stopped at the lighthouse beach area after a full day of shopping. Just a beautiful sight to see and with the American flag painted on the side it looked like the epitome of Cape Cod living!

First thing you see as you come in on the ferry, so we had to visit it in person! It's a tiny tiny lighthouse right at the end of the land. Can't get inside. Great photo op with the rocks and American flag on the side. There were more shells on that beach than i have ever seen before and... More

What a cute little lighthouse! We had so much fun relaxing on the beach, watching the boats go by, and fishing. See more on my blog- CandidlyKelly.com

Othet than the fact this was originally established in 1746 it is nothing more than a photo moment and out of there to something else.
