This is a no-frills bar/club about a mile from downtown. Older crowd (30s average age). The pool tables are a mess - in pretty bad shape, but something to do to kill time. I spent Saturday night June 18th at the Chicken Box on Nantucket Island. It was a really great place. The band was awesome, a U2 cover band that even if you arent the biggest U2 fan was GREAT! The atmosphere was wonderful, prices were good and there was plenty of bartenders so you didnt have to wait for a refill.... more
