We've done business at Young's for years. Still family run (Harvey may well greet you at the door), it offers great service, particularly if you are renting, a host of buying opportunities including bikes and accessories and you can even rent a car. A not closely hidden secret at Young's is the ability to purchase used rental bikes. We've bought... More

Special thanks to Jim for his sight seeing recommendations (great point was beautiful and the highlight of our trip!) and tips for driving our jeep on the beach. Basically the rental prices are all the same wherever you go, but Young's gives you that great personal service that truly makes a difference! Will definitely use them again on our next... More

Rented a tandem bike from Young's. They were very helpful. Told us to ride around the area for a little while first to make sure a tandem bike was for us. If not we could return for individual bikes. The tandem worked out fine and we took a ride out to Cisco Beach. Bike shop located near Steamship Authority Pier.

I rented a bike from Young's Bike Shop while on the island for 4 days. They were helpful, professional, and I was in and out quickly. My mom and my sister came in the next day to rent for the day and had the same experience. Additionally, my mom accidentally forgot to return her bike just on time and instead... More

Imagine a bike shop being an icon and a landmark, but this venerable establishment long a fixture, and I mean "long" on the island. It's one of the first shops you come to off the ferry and to me it signals "I'm back." They have a bike for all sizes and ages and even rent vechicles.

Flexible rentals (hour, 2 or 1/2 day), great service and map, and most important, the bikes were great Hybrids and comfortable. Very easy and good to deal with. Highly recommend.

I brought in a mountain bike that needed more than a little love from the service department. They took the bike in, evaluated it while I waited, gave me an estimate and asked if I wanted anything done, beyond what we talked about. Totally old-school type shop experience, knowledgable staff, no nonsense and the bike was ready and waiting for... More

We were in Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard for a Backroads bike tour, and two days prior to the start we rented bikes from Youngs. They were the best quality and maintained rental bikes we've ever had, and we rent bikes every where we go. The shifting mechanism is much easier than most bikes, which would help a lot of people hesitant to... More

We walked to Young's Bicycle Shop right off the ferry after reading reviews in advance and checking out their website. Service was very efficient. We only waited a few minutes, went to the counter, and were quickly set up with bikes. A staff member came out to the street with us to get us started and to make sure my... More

We area family of 4 with adult kids. We rented 4 bikes and took off toward Sconset. The ride was fairly easy but it is quite a distance, about 20 miles round trip. The road back along the shore was a little bit more hilly and the sea wind was pushing against us when going by the Sankaty light house... More
