With miles of bike paths, Nantucket is best toured by bike. Young's Bicycle Shop is a great place to rent a bike and get guidance on the best routes. Their map of bike paths is invaluable tool to get around the island.

This time we rented a car for the day instead of bikes. Process was equally simple and easy. The car, a Honda Civic, was very new, clean, and ready for us very quickly. So now I can recommend Youngs for both bikes and cars. and as everyone says, the best map on the island.
