Great selection and friendly staff. This year I found they sponsor Where's Waldo contest. I think 23 local businesses hide a die cut of Waldo. You get the passport at Mitchell's. What a find! I live in Boston, where several favorite bookstores have disappeared over the years. It was a real treat to find this well-stocked, cozy two-story haven conveniently located in Nantucket's historic district. Located right on Main street. They had several authors on site ready to sign your purchased books! I bought several for holiday gifts, plus they had children's books as well. Cute shop.

This is not your Big Box Bookstore, this a corner bookstore from a day gone by. And that is a good thing. From the moment I stepped in from the cobblestones to minute I made my purchase I felt welcome. This store has great customer service (they pride themselves on it) and stacks and stacks of books.
