This is a really Quirky museum with a bit of everything. I love visiting and going through all of the history books. It's like visiting a family member and going through their albums. Many things to see.

Lots of incredible, interesting history collected over years of work. The lady who runs it is so helpful and happy to show you where to look up ancestors etc. It was her husbands passion and he built up a large collection - hand written books and convicts artifacts. Well worth a visit.

when I visited this private museum, was greeted by owner who has a wealth of knowledge. Dingy and not very clean , but has the history of the island. Look past the cleanliness as its not your average well funded museum. Well worth a visit.

My husband and I loved this museum, we were greeted by a wonderful lady who lived and breathed the history of Norfolk Island and we were delighted with the wealth of history on show not only to look at but touch! .

This was the last museum we visited on the island but I think we spent the most time in it. Moira is lovely and only to happy to answer any questions. All the research done by Moira's late husband is amazing - and all the hand-written information is a pleasure to read. Looking at the museum from the outside is... More

Any Australian used to country museums will feel right at home. The museum is large and stuffed with things. A lot of some things, a few of others. It's like a treasure hunt wandering around, finding the bits and pieces that appeal to you. Overall it's a very comprehensive collection and well worth a visit.

Located cnr Middlemount Rd & Queen Elizabeth Drive diagonally opposite the school. in my opinion, by far the best museum (& privately run) on the Island. Got stuff from convict days, whaling days, WW 2 days, resettlement of Pitcairn Islanders etc. Entry only about $10 (cheaper than the others) and the lady who owns/runs it is only too helpful to...
