this location is really close to Skopje and the lake/canyon is incredible! If you want to see the lake, you can go by foot or by boat. Both options worth trying. Really beautiful!! More

Easy and quick to get to with obliging taxi drivers who set the meter without question. beautiful restaurant and (accommodation, although we didnt stay here) over looking the canyon/river and lovely little boat cruise with friendly guide who speaks quite decent english. A quite stunning unexpected gem just a short drive out of the city! More

15min away from Skopje, Kanyon Matka is beautiful for walk in nature, for coffee, visit of the caves, mountain climbing or boat ride in the kanyon. It's a beautiful spot in the nature although it may get overcrowded during weekends. More

just for coffee or for a hike in the nearby cliffs, Matka is a fenomenal place. Great place for cool down in the hot summer days. More
