The interior has beautiful frescoes. Some of them can be seen rarely in the orthodox churches. They let us in for the visit and we appreciated that.

It looks rather new outside and somewhat special inside. what I liked was that there are some icons which are very old and precious, there are benches along the walls where you can sit in a quiet and pray, and there is a quaint staircase winding up around a pillar.

It is just a small little church, but has beautiful interior all in good maintenance. We also lit a candle outside.

A very small and beautiful church in the center of Skopje. From the outside one could not expect the beauty that is found within this little church. Even though most of the icons are blackened by years of burning oil and candles this church is certainly worth a visit.

Perhaps I missed what makes this church special, but other than the sheer atmospherics of walking into a place like this, it is hard to tell. Right in the middle of Skopje, I walked in without the benefit of any signs or interpretive aid. And other than the impressive position of the raised lectern and the very dark (soot-covered) condition... More

Excellent interior, and even though it is small in the inside, it looks bigger on the outside. A lot of people are visiting it, it has a clock tower in the yard and some benches to get some rest.

A church that has seen many years of Skopje changing, and 2 years ago gave us a miracle that is still not explained... The icons started to clean by themselves. All the dust and black that was on to them (because of the candles burning inside the church) started to fell of the icons and not only that! The color... More

This church is build in 16th century. I had a chance to talk with one guy who work there and he told me that this church in the past was destroyed couple of times and build again. The yard use to be grave yard and that explains the old stones on the floor. Interesting for this church is that in... More
