Lot is one of several geological landmarks in the Sandy Bay area. A remnant of the tempestuous volcanic activity which formed the relatively young island of St Helena. A sightseeing tour either into Sandy Bay or along the ridges looking down into Sandy Bay is one of the truly memorable experiences for visitors.
