Description: Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is a unique, unforgettable experience...
Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is a unique, unforgettable experience for your child aboard a pirate ship in the Annapolis Harbor. You will be amazed as we tap into your child's imagination and transform him or her into a pirate, complete with face paint, tattoos, and pirate fashions. Time aboard our ship is filled with non-stop activity, including reading a treasure map, hauling loot aboard, and, of course, defending the ship with our famous water cannons.

We had family visiting from California - two little girls who had never visited Annapolis or the Bay. They really enjoyed the entire experience from dressing like a pirate with bandanas and tattoos and eye patches; "walking the plank" to getting onboard the ship. The treasure map and hunt; the "bad pirate"; the water guns; the treasure chest! They still... More

Staff was great, very engaged with the kids. You could see their minds working as the adventure progressed. From battling a pirate with the cannons, finding sunken treasure as well as a bit of grog to drink, the kids really got into it. Weather shut us out on our original "voyage" and the staff was very accommodating, moved us to... More

The staff exceeded my expectations! They staff is very energetic and lively and did a great job keeping all the kids engaged and safe. They did face painting and dress up first and learned pirate phrases. Once in the ship there was no just sitting around where the kids were board. The kids were constantly engaged by Patches and other... More

Pirate adventures on the Chesapeake is a great experience for young children on a "pirate adventure". Starting with nick names and face painting they do a great job of getting the young people involved in finding a pirate treasure which is hoisted from the "deeps". Along the way they fight a bad character with water cannons and end the day... More

We took our 6 year old daughter and 7 year old son on this adventure today and they had the best time. Absolutely everything was fabulous- the face painting, the pirate clothes and the way the staff interacts with the kids. We loved how the kids were given name tags with fun pirate names and the staff made a special... More

The party was 4 adults and one 7 year old. Everyone got their faces painted and then into pirate accessories. The Pirates kept the kids engaged with water cannons, grog and treasure found at sea. A great way to spend a few hours.

Our 5 year old had such a great time on this pirate adventure. Captain Rusty and his crew provided a highly engaging and entertaining trip for all. They clearly appreciate kids and enjoy what they do. Adults can sit back and enjoy the trip while little ones search for treasure aboard the Sea Gypsy.

We have an 8 and 4 year old who loved this trip. It had them entertained tge entire time. I would say that 9ish is the oldest that would really enjoy this. They painted faces, gave them pirate names, found tresure, shot the bad pirate with water cannons, and divided up tresure. The crew were great with the kids and... More

I went on a Pirate Adventure with my son's preschool and I knew he would love it, but didn't realize how much fun I would have. I was with other parents and teachers who had all been multiple times and they still had fun being there. The kids got to dress up as pirates, get tattoos painted on, find treasure,... More
