Many seats are obstructed by poles, the service is so poor that many people left and came back with drinks from other places, and people constantly walk in front of you during the show. The band was good but because of the size of the venue, it was extremely loud....many people complained and went outside. I probably won't go back.

OK, I know that it's a concert venue first and that food and drink is just an added perk. But when I am seated and given a menu, the least I expect is a server who has a clue as to what is going on. Our server seemed to be in a fog and it took almost half an hour... More

Just got back here for Ottmar Leibert's music. The same worn and tired looking theater. Any plans to bring this place to the 21st century? I enjoyed the performers but unfortunately the theater spoils the experience. The staff however were very well trained.

My boyfriend and I have attended many wonderful live music shows since April 2010 and we were just there this past weekend (June 2014) for another great show. We always love coming to The Rams Head Tavern because it's small and initimate (no seat is a bad seat), We have seen some incredible famous singers/bands over the years including major... More

I really do like Ram's Head, although the food can be hit and miss. Love the outside beer garden, the good selection of suds, the great atmosphere, and just the general vibe of the place. Connected to the restaurant/tavern/garden there is a music venue that is small but is perfect for seeing the talent up close and personal. The performers... More

Arrived at the tavern with 7 friends at 7p, just at the end of happy hour, on a Thursday. No hostess to be found. Sat in the bar area. Had to find our own menus. Once the waiter arrived, probably about 7:10p, we placed our drink and food order. Drinks arrived at 7:25p and food arrived at 8:00p. We got... More

Most seats are good, some are better, a couple are not good. We were far back but on an elevated floor and it was fine. Intimate setting. We saw "Over the Rhine," which is a duo playing mostly acoustic. Sounded great.

I've been to Rams Head twice. The first time was in June 2011 and the second time was 3/23/14. I enjoyed seeing Todd Rundgren's shows. The food was good. Looking forward to my next visit there.

Love the venue. Cozy place that allows you to see the entertainers. Polls in the middle of the room can be distracting but if you chose wisely you can see everything. Can not wait to go back again

Love the location- right beside the historic Ram's Head Tavern Restaurant. The venue for the shows however is a bit dated. Needs a major interior renovation. Rid of wall murals, curtains on stage and linoleum covered tables. Seating arrangement is also awkward. Acoustics is alright but can benefit from an upgrade. After attending another Patricio concert at Joe's Pub in... More
