Lovely old town a nice walk around

Lovely old buildings, nice shops and restaurants with a few museums, plus the academy, so the kids enjoyed seeing the uniforms.

Condensed in a small area, you will find so much to see. Plenty of shops, galleries and restaurants to visit. Water views with boats nearby. Water taxi tours are available. A beautiful area.

I enjoyed wandering around the area, browsing in the stores and other places. Didn't buy much as things were a little on the high side. Very friendly team members in most of the stores, which was nice. Nice to just walk around the harbor area - could see some yachts there and they also have some harbor tours you can... More

THe trip to Annapolis was the result of trying to avoid DC and Baltimore traffic coming up from Florida on the way to New YRok. This was a wonderful side trip that presented a lovely preserved town to view and enjoy. It was a pleasure to go here and have a late breakfast at one of the shops. It was... More

This area was a quaint historic area and a great way to spend a Saturday morning! Enjoyed the shops; circled the church; had a great bowl of clam chowder; enjoyed some great cookies; and even picked up a few souvenirs!

I like history and Historic Annapolis was educational, beautiful and easy to walk through. You walked in American History while enjoying the beautiful buildings, sculptures and overall architecture.

Took the historic tour of Annapolis with a guide. Not only saw and learned so much more than I expected; I was even more thrilled that I live in such a neat place as Annapolis.

Annapolis is always a great place to visit -- the dock at the end of Market Street has lots of neat shops; quaint little bars and easy parking. There are so many things to do and see -- definitely need to stop in to Chick & Ruth's for a sub named after your favorite politician!

This is a nice historic part of the city with lots of walking around to do. There are plenty of shops including bookstores, antiques, sweets - you name it. Go down to the water and see the Alex Haley memorial. Take in the Thurgood Marshall memorial by the government buildings. Take the side streets to see less touristy shops. We... More

Growing up in the area I have watched the changes that the town of Annapolis has gone thru over the last 45 years. Thru all of the moderation, the old town feel has remained. Walking the side streets near the water front/docks is like a walk back in time. With the sidewalks of brick (uneven in areas),homes dating back more... More
