Ok so to be honest they don't have the large variety of crazy roller coasters such as some other theme parks. But the 7 they do have are very good. The real gem of this place is the water park. All in all great theme park and DC is near by. So it makes for a great family vacation more

Yesterday was my second time to the park. My first time was exactly a year ago. After reading the reviews I decided last year to take a chance and took my two daughters (7 & 5 at the time). As some of the reviews mentioned, I did see some people that looked like they belonged to some gang, and some... more

Spent two or three hours here on Friday, July 17, with my son. We have SFGA season passes, so we got free parking and admission here, which may cloud our perception. We arrived around 4:00. Went on Mind Eraser, and thought that all the "good rides" were closed, as we didn't see any cars running on the tracks. Thought that... more

If you have been reading these reviews and wondering to yourself, "Maybe it's not so bad--maybe the angriest few are drowning out the voices of a huge, happy-yet-silent majority," I'm afraid that's not so. It really is as bad as all of these people are saying. The staff and guests have become so accustomed to a dozen or so major... more

Ok, so I decided this year to get a season pass for Six Flags because at SF America the season passes for 2009 are the same price as a one day admission, and I figured I'll go to SF Great Adventure at least once and probably to SF America 1 or 2 more times, which will make the pass worth... more

I love theme parks. This is the closest one to my home. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Here's why: 1. Takes an hour just to park because they won't pay for more than 5 parking attendants, which is not enough when you have several thousand people trying to enter. (Also, 15.00 parking fee). 2. ALWAYS has major rides down.... more

The last time I took my family to Six Flags was six years ago. Then, all rides were working, the park was reasonably clean and in good condition. August 3rd,2008 and the park is in very much need of new management. We went particularly for the water park and had to wait an extra 45 minutes to get in. Apparently... more

My family recently visited this park. We were very disappointed. My concern is that we were sold Flash Passes without being told that the park was all but deserted, secondly 7 major attractions were closed. Had I have known that I would not be able to use any of these passes I never would have bought them cost $60.00. The... more

Do not waste your time going here. This park is worse than a weekend fair in the mall parking lot. The rides are run down, some of them don't work, many of the cars either were broken or they didn't bother to put customers in the seats and the "child workers" are rude and inconsiderate. I was really looking forward... more
