Fabulous museum with models of naval ships dating back to the beginning of the navy. Some were over 5' long. It was really to see and meet some of the people being trained there. Very polite and respectful group of young men and women. These are our future leaders and made me proud.

This is a must see if you are spending the day in Annapolis. The entry is free, but you will need your driver's license to get past the guard and metal detector. Just trying to save everyone the fight my wife and I had when I had to walk back to the trunk to fetch her purse and ID. 2... More

Makes me proud to be an American. Very proud. The tour is informative and interesting for all ages. The cathedral and crypt are facinating! A must see when in Annapolis.

Liked....4 century tour and guides. (especially Mistress Alice!) Liked....brick streets...although they appear to be a safety hazard to people who drag their feet (bad habit anyway) Didn't like.....food...not vegan friendly. Vegan seems pretty simple to me...just plants. But this city kept trying to stuff butter, cream and seafood on my plate. Also....way way WAY too many smokers....gross. Even though most... More

Loved the naval academy. Loved the city. Great tour - nice walk. The architecture of the yard is stunning. The crypt of John Paul Jones was awesome. Guide was an alumni - Bruce. Informative and interesting. That said, I'm still partial to the Military Academy at West Point

There isn't anything to dislike. There is everything to like. It's located in Annapolis, which means it's on the water. The grounds are beautiful and are walkable. We saw a wedding taking place at the famount chapel. So much history that you can touch, and close your eyes to imagine. You don't need a tour guide because so much is... More

We only had 2 hours here due to parking restrictions in the roads surrounding the academy, but could have spent much longer. It is worth noting that if you are not a US citizen then you do need to take your passport with you to pass security. We just missed the noon formation, but enjoyed a stroll, in the spring... More

Our guided tour of the U.S. Naval Academy was awesome! It took two hours and we even had the privilege of seeing the midshipmen gather and march into formation prior to entering the dining hall for their noon meal! So very impressive! Your tax dollars are being put to good use at the US Naval Academy! The architecture and history... More
