This is a very nice memorial. It imparts some historical facts and provides a place for us to have a moment to reflect on what the American WWII heroes did for us. There is a magnificent view of the Naval academy from there.

Great view, details on the war and all the Marylanders that helped and sacrificed. Worth a stop if you are in the Annapolis area. Free and easy to access.

Nothing fancy but is a reflective place close to the Naval Academy. A sure stop on Route2. Open area with plenty of parking spaces.

This is a very interesting and informative memorial that fills in a lot of information about WW2 and Maryland's part in it. It is located on a beautiful overlook above the Severn river and the Naval Academy.

This memorial is out of town, over the Navy Bridge onto Route 2 North. It overlooks the Naval Academy and gives a real sense of peace. A must-see!!

What a nice spot to rest and reflect. There are very nice places to sit, and I imagine locals probably picnic here as well. I recommend stepping in while in Annapolis. Doesn't take long, and it's close to many other things as well.

While driving past, the Maryland World War II Memorial has a familiar appearance to the one seen on our nation's mall. This memorial overlooks the Naval Academy and the Severn river. The view is beautiful and it's quiet within the outdoor look out point and memorial. Definitely worth a 5-10 minute stop.
