While driving past, the Maryland World War II Memorial has a familiar appearance to the one seen on our nation's mall. This memorial overlooks the Naval Academy and the Severn river. The view is beautiful and it's quiet within the outdoor look out point and memorial. Definitely worth a 5-10 minute stop.

A beautiful setting looking over the Severn River and the Naval Academy. A small but wonderful memorial. Great place to quickly stop and take it all in.

Great job, Maryland! This is a very beautiful memorial, and placed at a great location. Very serene! Stop and pay your respects to those who served!

Great place to visit and pay your respects. Very well done. Super view. Seems like the concept for the one in DC was somewhat copied from this memorial. Go visit both.

An uninspired memorial by the side of the road, faded and unkempt. Someone should spend a little money on maintenance.

This is a beautiful memorial overlooking the river. It is well worth seeking out and stopping to spend a half hour or more. The view over the river is beautiful. I have been three times and each time a feel a certain peace coming over me. A wonderful spot to reflect on life and what really matters.

The memorial sits across the Severn River from Annapolis and the Naval Academy. The memorial is well designed and offers a historical perspective of WW2. It also has an excellent view of Annapolis. Make the short drive across the Naval Academy bridge, you won't be disappointed.

The memorial was built on a small hill across the river from historic Annapolis on Rt. 450 and can be easily access by Rt. 450 from the city. There are plenty of parking spaces on the site. The wall of names was very well design to capture your feeling while reflecting the thought to pay tribute to those brave soldiers... More

I always encourage travelers coming from the west to go across the Severn River Bridge on Rte 50 (one of the most scenic bodies of water in America) and then go into Annapolis at the next exit onto Governor Ritchie Highway/Rt 450. The WWII is at the top of the hill overlooking Annapolis

The World War II Memorial is just across the Severn River from the Naval Academy. It is a very nice memorial dedicated to the brave men & women who served their country in a time of need. It is well worth the time to stop & pay your respects.
