Was a nice place to rest and contemplate the beautiful weather while walking around Statehouse area.
An amazing man in his proper place of honor as an historic Marylander - right at the steps of the State House. Poignant sculptures make the point of his rising up through and above the times he lived in.
This was a memorable and meaningful memorial. I loved the sculptures of Thurgood and the children too.
We were there with the crowds and watched the Blue Angels airshow from here. Liked the location for viewing the show.
Nicely done with bronze statues. Benches for reflection and is handicapped accessible. Located at the footsteps of the Maryland State House.
Really neat! It's right in front of the State House, around the corner from St. Anne's Church.
This memorial is a little brick courtyard area adjacent to the Maryland State House and the Govenor's Mansion. It is a simple little memorial with a couple of statues, but it is a good area to sit and have lunch or meet up with people.
