We had a fabulous time on our kayak tour with Pete last weekend! While we're sort of locals (Arlington, VA), we've visited Annapolis many times but this was the most fun way to experience it -- on the water and learning about its history. Contrary to the not-so-nice review of one person, Kayak Annapolis was more than accommodating when my... More

Took our 6 year old son on this kayak adventure yesterday. Fun for adults and kids too. The guide was knowledgeable and personable with good insight and jokes. Thinking about going again. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kate & Pete. I would definitely encourage others to sign up for the tour. If I complain about anything, it would be to say I wanted to go longer!!

I will never use Kayak Annapolis and encourage others to not support this company. Kayak Annapolis offered a 50% coupon voucher on LivingSocial. I purchased the voucher and called to make a reservation a few days prior to the expiration date (they run 3 tours a day and the last few days were on weekdays so I did not anticipate... More

This was by far one of the best "tours" I have been on! Pete and Kate provided a perfect setting to learning a couple of facts about Annapolis while seeing the environment from the water! Take a friend with you as they are two man kayaks, but otherwise go and enjoy! The only thing which could have made this more... More

If you want to have a great time on the water, get in a little (not too strenuous) exercise, learn the history of Annapolis, and enjoy making new friends, Kayak Annapolis is ideal for you. Captian Kate and Pirate Pete are wonderful guides who provide an intelligent, yet fun adventure on the water. They provide the kayaks, drinks, snacks and... More

Got a discount coupon from Travelzoo for myself and my boyfriend. Did tour in middle of the week in the afternoon so less other boat traffic to navigate around (waterways pretty full of sail and motorized boats) and for easier commute to and from DC. Pete and Kate wonderful guides, VERY fun and informative. Kayaks were the sit on vs... More

We are Annapolitans, but we still loved this historic tour of Annapolis by kayak. The 2-hour trip was laid back -- you don't need to be a hard core athlete to do the trip (plus, the kayaks are tandems, so you share the work). Cap'n Pete was, in his words, a "plethora" of knowledge. We did, indeed, learn things we... More

My husband and I went kayaking with another couple this past week. Captain Kate and Pirate Pete were our instructors and guides. No one in our group is an experienced kayaker and we were able to navigate the Chesapeake with no problems. The pace was easy to keep up with and our guides were hilarious and informative about what we... More

Though they call this an historic tour, it's not a boring, history-over load. The guides are great about giving you just enough facts about Annapolis (ranging from present day celebrity homes you're passing, all the way back to colonial times), along with moments of silence to enjoy the scenery. The tour lasts two hours and includes a break halfway through... More
