I surprised my husband with the "Historic District 101" tour for his birthday in early June. He loves history and was not disappointed with this present. We (husband, toddler, and I) met Squire Gary at the meeting point and the tour started right on time. We were the only ones that morning, so instead of a 1.75 hour tour, Squire... More

We had a great 3 hour tour of Annapolis great restaurants and got a great history tour as well! Rose was the ultimate tour guide and my only suggestion is to go back to using a wireless concept so we all can hear much clearer the commentary, due to background noises and such. Great time and plenty of food. More

I strongly recommend this tour (1.75 hr). Our guide, Rose, was very knowledgeable and funny. We saw all major touristic places in Annapolis and had access to areas not open to regular people. The Pacca's garden was an extremely pleasant surprise! More

Our guide, Rose, dressed in colonial period clothing, was very charming and engaging. She made sure to share tid bits of information along the tour that all of us found interesting (from my 10 year old daughter to my 71 year old mother). The tour involved a lot of walking and standing on your feet, but it did not involve... More

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and although I have lived in the area almost 8 years, there was so much of interest of which I was unfamiliar. It was a great way to visit Annapolis and sample the local fare at various restaurants. I would highly recommend the "Food and History Tour" of Annapolis to anyone who would like to... More

The tour of Annapolis was very enjoyable, informative and the tour guide (Gary Glossop) was authentic and did a wonderful job on the tour. He had the answers to all of the questions and also answered all of our questions. The tour is a two hour walking tour. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your camera. More

The tour was excellent. Our guide Gary was well informed and encouraged questions and comments. We learned about the architecture, customs, sayings, government and religion of colonial times. The guide was easy to hear and fun to talk to. We were given all the time we wanted at each site. More

Annapolis is always a pleasure for walking. The varied offerings of the restaurants we visited were excellent. The history part of the tour was a lively learning experience and great fun. More

My wife and I took the History 101 walking tour on Saturday 10/30/10, led by Squire Howard. Howard related much of the early history of Annapolis and was quite knowledgeable about the events culminating in George Washington resigning his commission in the state capitol. Much of his narrative was devoted to the origin of idiomatic phrases that had their genesis... More
