Who doesn't like a park on a hot day? My six-year-old granddaughter can't get enough of them. (Go figure!) So, first stop: Playground. Unlike other park designers, these guys really had their mulch together. I mean they built the playground on the lower level of a hill and the benches under the cover of shade trees on the top of... I came here to kayak with my dog on the creek. The people at the boat rental were very nice. They guide me to the right kayak for me and my dog and helped me get my dog back on the kayak after he jump in for an swim. prices were reasonable for the rentals...they even had good old pedal... More

Beautiful Annapolis park for the whole family. Walking trails, water activities, play grounds, pavilions for family gatherings, art gallery, outdoor music events. What's not to love here?

Quiet Waters Park is a great little getaway. Lots of hiking trails, an ice rink in the winter, and canoe/kayak rentals. My wife and I get out here every few weeks, either for a brisk hike, or to occasionally get out on the water. As one would expect, there are lots of families here, taking the kids for a bike... More

Quiet Waters park rents kayaks, canoes, water boards and peddle boats for about $20/hr. It's a great place to try out the sports. It is also a place where you can bring your own. The cove is a favorite over nighter for power boats and sailboats. If you want to take a closer look, check out my video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXlrMfLJqP4 This... More

I bring my dogs here because there is a gray dog park. Actually there are two - one for large dogs and one for small dogs. I have a Sheltie who probably would be fine in the large dog area but at times seems overwhelmed and the small dog area is better for him. I really appreciate having two areas.... More

My husband and I made a short trip through the park the day we arrived in Annapolis for a two-night stay. I wish we had had more time to enjoy all the park has to offer. We walked one of the trails down to the kayak rental (we didn't have the time to go out ourselves), took a quick tour... More

We were there on a Saturday in June. We had never been there and just decided to try something new. It really is very nicely laid out and kept up, and we walked on some of the trails, and had a picnic lunch in the woods. There are a lot of nice facilities for group events and cookouts. The only... We love this park. There is a ton of stuff to do. We like to fly kites, have picnics, bike, walk, jog on the paved trails, go to the dog park, sit by the pond/fountains, geocache, throw rocks in the river - but most of all - we LOVE going off the paved path into to the wooded trails. There... More

Very nice and well-used natural area with six miles of trails and canoe/paddle board rentals. Dog friendly as long as they are leashed.
