A visit to Quiet Waters -- just a few miles outside if the City center -- is well worth it. Serene, on the water. And, during the Summer on Saturdays, free concerts in the Park!

My dog and I are regular visitors to the park. In addition to the dog park, there are great trails to walk through the park. If you are in that frame of mind, sitting in the gazebo overlooking the South River with a book is a wonderful way to spend time on warm day. The shade trails are especially nice... More

Clearly just the best park ever. Huge walking area, fields, ice rink in the winter, even a restaurant in the middle. Best view of the water at the end.

After reading several Tripadvisor reviews, we decided to come explore the paths at Quiet Waters Park. We had a great time! Although not for the serious cyclist, these paths were absolutely perfect for my 8 year old daughter who was new to cylcing. We thoroughly enjoyed the park and paths, especially the shady, wooded parts on a hot day. A... More

Quiet Waters Park is an oasis - an oasis with both a dog park and a legitimate dog beach. For those of us traveling with 4-legged friends it's a bit of heaven. There are also nice walking trails and boat and canoe rentals. Well maintained and reasonable costs. The only "drawback" is an entrance fee - but it's a small... More

Lovely paths lead to amazing water views. This is one of those parks that is so tucked away, you might live here years without even going in -- and that would be a huge loss. Really worth a trip, and take the time to explore the paths because they really do lead to some spectacular vistas.

If you are visiting the historic part of Annapolis, take in a bit of the country-side of the county at QWP. This is a county park, and there is an admission fee only if you drive into the park. many park in the lot adjacent to the entrance and walk/ride in. walk, jog, hike, or bike the miles of hilly... A wonderful place to walk and bike. It's kid friendly. You can rent small boats/canoes. Local art exhibits are on display in the main building. See their website for the latest news.

I spent the afternoon here with my wife on a sunny December afternoon. The park is lovely and quiet even with lots of other folks. We walked out to the boat rental and enjoyed the view and also walked out to the west end off of Parking lot N. This spot has a couple of gazebos and a line of... More
