This is my second trip in 2 years and aiming for another. The crew is just amazing...no loss of service always consistent. Captain Jen I love you, but Captain Mike was awesome too! The ship is a 4 sail schooner. You can haul sails, drive or just sit back, buy wine or beer or enjoy a complimentary soda, snack or... More

Fabulous 2 hour sail through the Cheasapeake on a beautiful 74ft wooden sailboat. Captain and crew made sure to meet all the passengers and made us feel welcome. I was celebrating the birthday of my date and they made sure to let him take the wheel first for about 20 min which totally made his day. Sun was shining, wind... More

This was a fun, interactive activity for our young family of five. We have three girls, ages 11, 9, and 5 and they all enjoyed sailing on the Woodwind. The crew were fun and engaging and our girls loved being part of the experience as they were allowed to help raise the sails and steer the boat. Sailing on the... More

As an active sailor with my own boats, I wan't sure if we would enjoy this two hour cruise, but we were at the boat show without a boat of our own and thought we'd try it. We had a fantastic time. The crew is professional and makes this cruise exceptional by engaging with the guests. We noticed that the... More

There were eight of us on the champagne sunset cruise. The vista was simply beautiful as we left the Annapolis Harbor, sailed past the Naval Academy and on through the Chesapeake Bay. The crew was fun and so knowledgeable as we asked questions. Although because of clouds, there wasn't much of a sunset on this particular evening, as the lights... More

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Sailing out on the Chesapeake Bay amid the other boats in gorgeous sunshine. Nothing beats the wind in your hair and the smell of fresh saltwater. WE love our sails aboard this gorgeous schooner. Please visit it and make you day a brighter one. The crew is courteous, humorous and helpful.

Went to the Annapolis Seaport, strolled around the Annapolis Towne Center, before boarding the 74’ Schooner Woodwind for a sunset sail cruise/overnight stay. After our sunset sail, Captain Ken called for a water taxi to take us to Carrol’s Creek Café for dinner and we enjoyed a short distance walk along 6th street bridge. We sat on the deck under... Boat and crew are great but the view is the main attraction and was spectacular. Couldn't have been better!
