As a student abroad in Costa Rica I didn't expect to learn so much at the locks during my holiday to Panama. We spent hours here watching ships, asking questions and going through the museum. It's a "don't miss" in Panama City.

Good spot to see the channel, a little but good museum. A 3D video about the channel. Nothing disliked

It's a must see in Panama to visit the locks and see the vessels passing by. It's also interesting to see the history of the construction and understand the dynamics behind a simples crossing.

This is what Panama is known for worldwide, the famous Panama Canal! The place has a nice museum with all the history of the canal, along with a well appointed observation deck and also with a restaurant which is open even at night after the museum and the observation deck is closed, also offering nice view of the passing ships... Can't really come to Panama without visiting the canal and this is the best place to see it in action apart from riding a boat through it. Very nice visitor center with a museum, cafe, mini aquarium and observation deck.

Great way to learn about the canal before you transit through it. The museum is very interesting and informative. Was dissapointed with the restaurant. Too expensive and the food was cold. The only other choice was a cafeteria with a very limited menu.

When in Panama...you can't really slip the thing this country is known for, right? We hoped to learn some interesting facts but found the 3d movie to be a gimmick (it's included in the $15 admission). The museum was better but filled with lots of staged "selfie" spots. The canal has a good viewing platform on the fourth floor and... More

We saw 2 ships go by which was awesome. Head straight to the 4th floor and make your way down. The museum is very cool and so was the 3D, 10 minute movie. Definitely worth seeing but don't plan on staying too long. I think 1.5 - 2 hours is enough.

Exhibits are high quality and provide very nice description and history of the canal. Skip the movie
