I never did see the welcome center, But We did run in to Peter, the owner of the Casa del Sol. Peter and his wife are so friendly and very helpful, They usually wait on the beach when the Ferry drops visitors off, to pick up guests that have made reservations prior to visiting the Island. Peter has bed and... More

We came here to rent a golf cart for the day while visiting the island. The staff is friendly and their golf cart prices are great (we paid $40/4 hours). We returned it an hour late and were comped the extra hour, which was nice of them! Stop here to get a map and a golf cart and go explore... More

You can buy ice cream , rent a golf cart and grab a map. Other than this they don't really know much. If you fly over on Air Panama, do not ask them about flights or where the office is. They had no idea there was an office even though they were 100 feet from it.

I want to leave a review of Contadora Island but I didn't visit the Welcome Center. I'll write anyway and see if it's published. After staying in Panama we escaped to this fabulous - rustic island where everything is pretty much within walking distance and is just a wonderful getaway. No fancy restaurants but the restaurants there are so good.... More

Up the road, to your right from the main arrival/departure beach on Contadora is this hole in the wall. Run by an elderly expat and a young local woman, it’s a good place to stop for an ice coffee. There are beach chairs (not loungers) and umbrellas for rent here at $5/day/item. As Contadoran beaches have zero amenities you may... More

Isla Contadora Welcome Center provides great information, tours, maps, and golf car rental for you to move around the island. It is an excellent way to get to know the island in the Pacific, over 22 miles away.

The hotel was great and food was delicious. The beach consisted of grey sand and the tide went out so far to get to the water, you walked in mud. Very hot weather. Would not go back. I love white sand beaches and turquoise water and not the place to find that. People are the greatest though and treat you... More

The Columbian Island is small, very quiet and lovely, the weather is windy and the people are kind... if you want to do sports water you have options as snorkel and diving from 20$ an hour. Overall, "Contadora" it's the perfect getaway for couples, about the accommodation I suggest Casa del Sol, Peter ( the owner ) he's honestly and... More

The folks in the welcome center enjoy sharing their knowledge about the island and the area. Plus, you can make reservations for several excursions.
