I saw a few birds, sloth, iguanas, and the aquariums are okay. It is a nice walk in a well-used forest on the peninsula, but to really see wildlife you need a guide into Soberania National Park. It was nice but not worth two taxi fares + the $5 admission fee.

I had heard this was a very tiny park/ aquarium, but my kids loved it! We were almost on an island, we saw crabs crawling in the rocks, mangroves growing among some ruins, there were sea turtles and sharks and starfish. We met some curious and friendly raccoons and had the chance to find about twenty sloths hanging from the... More

It's small but you leave with the feeling that you've seen a lot. The children love the up close encounters with unique animals such as sloths, racoons, mantray, star fish (there is a fish tank where you can actually touch them). Te staff is very helpful, friendly and well informed. Very nice views of the large cargo ships heading to... More

The small peninsula used to be an artillery position to secure the Canal. Now it's a place of untouched nature, where you can study rainforest, beach and even see and touch a few sea creatures. Whilst the centre tries hard to be also entertaining (quite important for kids) it appears a little run down and poorly maintained. However, it is... More

I didn't expect much after reading the reviews of how small it is. I will tell you, it IS small. However, about 3 minutes after we entered, we saw this two-toed sloth that was climbing the branches and he was SUPER close to us. I've never seen a sloth in the wild nor so close as they usually like to... More

This is a small nature center focused on marine life on Isla Naos on the Amador Causeway. There are exhibits on Panamanian habitats, fish, turtles and birds, and a short film overview. There is also a rocky shore area and tidal beach inhabited by several species of marine crabs. There are a couple of short nature trails through a dry... More

I came here specifically because previous reviews said there were sloths...and I was not disappointed! We also saw iguanas and a raccoon as we roamed the grounds. Although this nature center is small, they had a variety of exhibits - a touch tank with sea cucumbers, starfish, and sea urchins and a variety of tanks holding charismatic marine life such... More

I came here with my family (ages 21-78) and we all enjoyed the experience. We saw some wildlife, iguanas and beautiful butterflies, in addition to the starfish, sea cucumbers, and other sea creatures that are in the facility. The nature center is small and would probably take an hour to visit at most. The staff are knowledgable and bilingual so... More

There was not that much to see in this small nature center, but the exhibits that were there were good. The most impressive thing was the staff who were very friendly and knowledgeable in both Spanish and English. The small forest had a surprising amount of wildlife--we saw birds, a huge iguana, and two sloths who were very close. Worth... More
