We have taken tours with Anne before and always enjoy them, but, our favorite is whale watching. Our greatest joy on this trip was watching a mother and calf playing with a log. We had spotted a whale and were heading toward it, then noticed a log moving against the small swell of the ocean. Soon, we saw a calf's... More

Josh took us on a fabulous whale watch where we saw a mother and baby whale cavorting and showing us her fins. What I never expected is to listen to the songs of male whales in the area. Josh threw a microphone overboard and it picked up the males song and gave us an idea where we might find more... More

Thank you Josh for a fantastic event around Isla Contadora We did see a lot of whales and one of them did actually jump completely out of the water! It was far more than I expected and well worth the price! Josh had excellent knowledge about whales and can be strongly recommended! The local anecdotes and information on the different... More

We took the ferry from Panama City out to Isla Contadora and took the tour from there. Our guide, Josh, was really great, and watching the humpbacks was truly an incredible experience! After awhile Josh took us over to a couple of the islands to walk around and take pictures. Bring a swimsuit with you.

We booked 2 tours during our visit. We stayed in the Gamboa resort, and one of the best perks was transportation was included. We booked the Snorkeling + Portobelo tour and the Nature in the City tour. Snorkeling was pretty fantastic. We had our own private guide and our own private boat captain and divemaster through Scuba Panama. He escorted... More

Amazing day with many whales seen not far from the city and near Contadora island. Great stop on contadora, swimming and snorkeling. A special thank to Kenny who was a great guide, answering all our many questions about whales in a very simple way. For the anecdote, we forgot a bag with snorkeling material on the boat and left Panama... More

I travel to Panama with regularity for work and often times I have clients traveling with me. On this particular trip, I found the whale watching adventure and took 3 clients out on this tour. It was absolutely amazing. Anne was our guide and she could not have made the experience any better!! She is very knowledgable about the whales,... More

My sister and I took the 3 hour midday whale watching tour lead by Heidi and piloted by Omar, our panga driver, from Contodora Island back in September. It was a grey, drizzly day which probably helped to keep the temperatures tolerable but may have hindered the whales from being more interactive. We saw about 6 whales, mostly from far... More

Anne was great to work with, and we booked this tour while we were still in Canada (via email). I have to say..., this was an experience we will never forget! We had 2 tour guides - one spoke English and told us all about the whales in the area. My husband was so excited that he almost jumped off... More

We saw about 12 whales and several dolphins. Our experience included seeing a couple of pairs of mothers with calves. We also saw 2 males fighting over a female whale. They were chasing each other and even swam under our boat and surfaced right in front of us. It made a great video! We met Anne before leaving, but we... More
