I am very disappointed in reading some 2 stars reviews that are obviously meant for TABOGA and not SABOGA, Saboga is simply a small virgin paradise with incredible clear waters. Nothing and I mean nothing comparable with Taboga which is by far much worst.

The Private Beach Club is a great weekend getaway. The location was perfect, great beaches, wonderful food, and service. www.beachclubsaboga.com

This island is certainly worth the journey if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Panama City and relax on a beach or snorkel (chances are you will have a whole beach to yourself). It doesn't have much else to offer - the only place to visit besides the beaches is the town itself which is quite interesting... More

We went for a day trip to Saboga. A very nice place with a calm beautiful sandy beach. The beach has some sun beds and a small bar with coffee and limited options of drinks. They also suggest lunch, two options: fried fish or chicken with rice, salad and potatoes. Some people bring their own food and drinks and arrange... More

No people, this is NOT the same island, so please don't assume Isla Saboga = Isla Taboga. Both islands are in the Bay of Panama, however Isla Taboga is well within an hour from Panama City and near the entrance of the Panama Canal. In my humble opinion, you go there once and never return. It's a nice way to... More

Beautiful island, two connect on low tide w/ a sandbar. Plenty of flowers around and crystal clear water at the pier about 50' deep and can see the bottom. Shark or two may be visible also.

with the exception of the hilarious village near the 'port', the island is a jungle surrounded by heavy surf. it punishes the weak, stupid and unprepared. and don't believe them when they tell you there are no alligators.
