We used this company to go on the partial canal trip - southbound. Air-conditioned new buses took us from the meeting place at Isla Flamenco (make sure your driver knows !!) to Gamboa. From there we boarded their max-300 person boat. We were with about 100 people - the experience may be different with maximum capacity. The narrator / guide... More

Why am I posting a review of a trip I did not make? Mainly to praise the company and secondly to advise travelers of a Panamanian issue. First the company was wonderful in answering all my questions before the trip. I felt very satisfied that they were the right choice. Then when the trip got cancelled they immediately refunded all... Once in a lifetime opportunity to see a TRUE WONDER OF THE WORLD. Excellent Tour Guide. Friendly crew. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to disembark downtown instead of returning all the way out to Flamenco Marina...but definitely " A MUST" if you are in Panama!

We had a good tour with Panama Marine Adventures. Our good experience may partially be due to the fact that the boat only had approximately 60 people on it. Consequently, there were plenty of open seats, both inside and outside, more than enough food (quality OK, not great), and almost no line for the food. Gus the tour guide was... More

We went on the partial transit our first full day in Panama. I had read about the canal prior to our trip but it is very different to see it and take in the scale of the operation. Our tour guide, Gus, is excellent as stated in other reviews. We also found Lennys to be extremely helpful with booking other... More

As we use canals in the U.K. we had wanted to see the Panama canal for a long time and as they are working on the expansion project at present now seemed a good time to visit. We booked the full transit tour starting from Panama city and ending in Colon,it is not a cheap trip costing $195 per person,we arrived... The morning started off a little crazy. We were delayed in getting to the dock due to a traffic accident and all the streets were blocked off. By the time we got to the dock everyone was already aboard and they were getting ready to set sail. We frantically boarded the boat and then realized everyone was wearing wristbands but... More

We were looking forward to the full transit, but we were a bit disappointed, There are 300 people on the Pacific Queen, and that is too much, People reserve seats (even if they are not supposed to ) and there are always people blocking the view.... The full day transit takes too long also.. I would limit myself to the... More

We were in Panama City to hook up with another vacation activity, and decided to do a one day tour of the Panama Canal. It was perfect. You can pick which direction you want to go. From the marina we took a bus to the starting point and then boarded a boat for the tour through the canal. Although the... More

My husband and I were able to take the Pacific Queen on a partial transit of the Panama Canal. We headed east from Panama City to Balboa by bus and returned on the Pacific Queen for our partial transit. Our guide "Gus" was bilingual and he was just fantastic. He loved people and sharing his knowledge of the panama canal.... More
