This was a wonderful way to learn some history of Panama and its people. The tour was excellent and I even got to sandblast some silver pieces. The tour was private for no one else was there on a Wednesday at 2pm. No fee either. Saw the lost wax process. Entertaining and informative. Its in the midst of an industrial... More

took a Friday tour on short notice. Only twice a day on weekdays. Monica, the docent, was great, speaking perfect English & Spanish. Only $10 per person, you see a short presentation, see the lost wax process & history of precious items of Panama & visit the gift shop. It is in the Industrial Park in Costa del Este. Not... More

These artisans take great joy in explaining the history of their country's artifacts and beautifully explain as they recreate the ceramics, jewelry and textiles. It was like an an amazing museum with a dreamy gift shop. You know you are going to want souvenirs from your trip. Here you feel you are leaving with memories as well. The tour guides... More

Reprosa wasn't originally on my list of things of things to do in Panama. But I am really glad that I changed my mind. The tour guide, Monica was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer my million and one questions. The tour started of with a video which highlighted some of the history of Panama, then the guide gave... More

We visited Reprosa last Friday, and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Monica, was very engaging, knowledgable, and helpful, with all the employees cheerfully in sync to help demonstrate the process.Their jewelry was beautiful and very reasonably priced. They also have other arts and crafts such as Embera baskets that are exquisite. The owner and all the employees are incredibly friendly,... This is the second time I have taken this tour, this time as a tour leader. When I first saw this jewelers studio, I though, ah this I have to show to others, as it is so unique for at least two reasons, one that the history of Panama is preserved and the way the pre-colombian inhabitants made their jewelry... I had read all the reviews & really wanted to go pick out a few items for gifts. We couldn't make the factory tour so went to old city instead. After trying to find to place we were very disappointed tat the shop was padlocked. We double checked the day & time. It was Thursday after 10am, the sign said... More

This is my second trip to Panama and to Reprosa. I wanted to take my friends to show them the tour and they were not disappointed. Apart from the very interesting tour which shows you how the pre-Columbian Indians of Panama made their gold pieces and how these pieces are reproduced, they have the absolute best selection of handicrafts anywhere...
