We were sooooo fortunate to get Ross Alford as our guide. Love his demeanor, attitude, knowledge, humor, professionalism and courtesy. I know the rest of our group of 11 felt exactly the same. We took the Monkey Island and Indigenous Wounan Village tour......Saw lots of monkeys and birds as we had hoped in addition to some unexpected wildlife. Ross really... More

Highly recommend doing the Monkey Island jungle tour. We all thoroughly enjoyed the animals and meeting people at the indigenous Indian village. We brought our 1 year old daughter and glad we did. The village and our guide Ross were very hospitable. Plus, the great customer service, small group size and tour timeliness were all excellent.

My wife and I spent a few hours with Kevin touring Panama City and Panama Canal. Kevin's a knowledgable and passionate tour guide who delivers on the promise of a good tour experience.

The short of it: We did 3 tours with Barefoot Panama: El Valle (Wednesday hike), Panama City and Canal Tour, and the Jungle Tour. Transportation was on time, communication was on point, tour guides were personable, knowledgeable and accommodating; Simply an outstanding experience; if you're looking to do a tour, book with Barefoot Panama - period. The long of it... More

My husband and I spent a day with a fantastic tour guide through Barefoot Panama. We toured Ancon Hill (saw two toucans, a number of other birds, beautiful views of the City, and an agouti), the Panama Canal (including a trip through the museum), a Smithsonian site with a really neat frog exhibit, and casco viejo (the old city). It... More

We took many trips with them, but my favorite was snorkeling. Very kind and open people that are willing to help you in any way they can. Great personable service.

Great trip, just 4 of us went, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Went into Bayano Caves, where bats are literally 3ft above your head. You will walk waste deep in water and guano. Further down the water will get over your head, so swimming is required. The guide wore a vest, we did not, no problem. Saw a Fer-de-Lance in... More

We booked a 2 nights San Blas tour with Barefoot Panama and Ross and Kevin were great. They explained all the different tour options to us and also gave us tips on onward travel to the Bocas. Payment was secure and the tour operators picked us up from the hotel at the agreed time. The tour itself was fantastic and... More

The trip from Panama City is about 2 hours drive each way. We took a boat to Isla Grande. There is a hotel that charges $8 for use of the facilities and $2 for the toilet. The island is a short walk from end to end and there is an option to climb up to the lighthouse. We had lunch... More

Looking to get out of the city or away from the hotel? I loved Barefoot Panama! Type guide was well spoken, friendly, and spoke great English. Tour was catered to our group, and a full day trip cost about 120$USD. I went to El Valle on an explorer tour, to visit a waterfall, we did some hiking, visit to the zoo,... More
