Morro Negrito is an AMAZING place to go. The food is great, the people are nice, there are plenty of different surf spots that the guides take you to. It's absolutely gorgeous there, and ANYONE would be lucky to visit. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been to, and I have been back 5 times. If you... more

All I wanted from my 2 weeks at Morro Negrito were waves and hammock-time. I was lucky enough to get both in abundance. The surf guides made it a point to get us to the best waves possible, which they did on both small and large days for morning and afternoon sessions. The food was good, there was plenty of... more

I would like to respond to this person's criticisms one by one. 1st. Getting to the island sucks. I am not sure how to comment to this. It is a 5 hour bus ride on a Mercedes Benz luxury bus, so maybe the guy wanted a limo? Surfing trips take time. I have friends that have driven down to Scorpion...

This place is kind of a joke. Here's what we experience on our recent trip: 1. They forgot to pick us up an the boat launch...Forgot! 2. The rooms are filthy and bug-infested. They need serious renovation. 3. The food wasn't good, and there wasn't enough. Hence, why they tell you to bring your own. 4. It's over-priced. 5. There's... more

This person wrote me a bad check. We were able to catch it before he left and get another payment from him. Apparently, he is now using TripAdvisor a progaganda tool to hurt the business with a negative report. As far as this supposed report, what is this about bad food. Even the negative previous report states that the food...

I took my family to this surf camp Aug. 08. I was the only one with any surf experience. My children are 18,16, and 9. They loved it and said that this was the "best vacation ever", It was also the cheapest. My wife who is not a camper was skeptical but she also loved it and now they all... more

We visited in March 2007 and discovered a truly delightful tropical getaway! I was on the beginning edge of the surfing learninng curve, but the other experiened surfers there were also having a great time and catching lots of waves. We loved the fresh, local food, as well as our private room in one of the newer bungalows. (I would... more

I went to the camp in 2005 and had made a request for my own room. The "room" was a shack with crabs running around at night under foot, which I did not mind that much. What I did mind was the guy on the other side of the screen snoring loud all night long. Electric power was only available... more

We just went to Morro Negrito with a group of 10 people and we had a great time. The staff was great, the food was great and plentiful, the camp was beautiful and the accomodations were more than adequate. Don't go to Morro Negrito if you are expecting luxury--it is "rustic", but that is half the fun. We thoroughly enjoyed... more

I planned a trip to morro negrito and paid for the trip in full, via paypal. One week prior to the trip date, my girlfriend had some family issues that would not allow her to go on the trip. I had to stay with her through the family problems and we could not go on the trip. I contacted morro... more

Here are the circumstances of this case He was given an extremely discounted price, less than what the normal deposit is which is not refundable. He canceled because his girlfriend's mother was sick. The deposit is not refundable, but I offered him a credit towards a future stay. He immediately stopped payment against his credit card. This matter is currently...

I've been to many surf camps and this one ranks as the very worst.. Avoid at all costs. The food is disgusting and sparse. The reason they suggest bringing protein bars is to save money. The living quarters were dirty and filled with bugs. And while the surf can be good (based on photos) it was flat when we were... more

It is difficult to respond to such a accusation. He apparently saw bugs, we are in a very tropical remote destination. Sometimes, people track dirt into their rooms. We do have a cleaning person come in daily to sweep and clean the rooms. He says the waves were small at the surf camp. Unfortunately, we can not control the size...
