Located near the lake of Managua, it's the best museum in Nicaragua. C$20 for local and C$ 80 for others. The building is great from the outside and contains lots of collections. The museum shows the history and culture of Nicaragua beginning from the precolumbia ages....lot's of pottery and history. Although it's the best, still a lot to improve. Worth...

the way how all the info is presented allowed you to stay long in this place admiring this beautiful exposition. And the site outside is also very nice with the old colonial...

the wether is so nice. Do not forget to add American food in the menu. Should be good idea to put more hamaca close to the beach
I was there on a Monday so it seemed relatively quiet. The old church is worth a few pictures. And the museum has really great exhibits. If you don't read Spanish get a guide and you will find out things you neve what have known. Don't walk around the surrounding barrios, they can be a little dangerous. But the park...

Very interesting to see in person what I saw in 1979 when the revolution was won by the Sandinistas. The National Palace Museum contains some incredible artifacts of the nation and explains the terrain and geography very well. The square is vast and this is a must see. Best to go with a guide. But really need to see it....

Any traveler in Managua must visit at least one time this historic building. It has been an iconic site of the political history of the Republic of Nicaragua since a lot of years ago and several administrations.

My Spanish is, uh, developing. My guide, who just appeared, only spoke Spanish. Required him to act out part of their history. He was a great sport. I really enjoyed the...

An interesting time - you need about 2 hours - I rushed through in 20 minutes. The English speaking guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and gracious. Cost is very reasonable.
