I have been to quite a few beaches here, and this is one of my favorite spots...its wide, white sand, little crowd, very relaxed vibes, overall a nice relaxing stay and good surf.

If you want good surfing, quiet place, gorgeous beach, yoga, safety, or family time this is the place to come. I do recommend that you bring your other half because it can get quite... More

This is one of th best places I have ever surfed. The wind is offshore 90% of the time because of Lake Nicaragua. You can get three sessions in a day, incredible!!. There is waves for all levels, the outer reef is hard, heavy and hollow. The beach break has multiple peaks with lots of pop. You can also get great... More

Went there Nov. 06. I had a great time. Have a good friend living there. He loves it. Waves were good almost everyday with very few people around. Everyone there is very friendly and mellow. There are a couple of bare bones hotels at the end of the road where you park to surf Popoyo. I recommend staying at Hotel... More
